Pidg in a Nutshell

Creating has always been a form of therapy for me; dabbling in selling it on and off. Recently my doctor snatched me out of work due to illness mingled with, oh I don't know, my body giving out... pshh... minor setbacks. BUT, I've wanted to dive into my shops like I have in the past a hundred years ago so now I have the time.

I clean, I cook, I craft, I rear smaller versions of myself, who I refer to as 'Pidglets'. Sometimes I don't do any of those things and I end up writing for hours which is the other true love in my life.

I'm plagued with initials like ADHD and OCD so in my daily routine there are several large and gaping holes; thankfully I am well adept to improvising. Big fat cute wink at the end of that one. I will tell you this... I may do it all but it is never graceful.

PidgApeg shops, yep there are 3, are my way of balancing family and work. I have 6 amazingly awful and beautiful pidglets, 4 girls at the top and 2 boys at the bottom. One has been married off and 5 still have to return to me everyday.

I started making jewelry when my pidglets were younger. I was tired of buying them accessories that were over-priced and/or cheap. I wanted something they could afford so that they would have enough to flip day in and day out. The four of them are a perfect mix of feminine and strong. Unfortunately only the strength came from their mother... the feminine.. not so much.

My business hours depend on my husband's schedule and my insomnia. The moment 5 of my 6 kids roll off the bus - production stops and it's time to chat, play and relentlessly tease each other.

It's kind of funny talking about me to tell you the truth, just so you know, I think I'm gonna copy this bad boy for the other shops too. If you for some reason want more, drop by my blog. The place I air our sarcasm, sweetness, stories and daily antics of a bunch of everything.

I firmly believe creativity and self-expression should be affordable. When I opened PidgApeg I wanted to make it affordable to not only adults, but also teens and tweens.

I sell quite a bit locally but now I'm making a push for my Etsy shop. It's trial by fire, but I'll get the hang of it eventually!

Returns and exchanges
I don't offer refunds or exchanges unless my item was not accurately described.
I cannot be held responsible for items lost or stolen through the mail.

If there is a problem or you are not satisfied with your item DO contact me, my goal is to have both buyer and seller happy with the entire transaction.
Payment
I accept PayPal. Payment is expected within 3 days, but I know things come up and if that isn't workable just let me know.
Shipping
I ship by way of USPS 1st class mail at least 3 times per week. My post office isn't open on Saturday's anymore so I cannot ship weekends sorry. If it's a custom order we can discuss shipping individually.

If you would like tracking, insurance or another method of shipment (ie: priority mail) please contact me for a shipping quote.
Additional policies and FAQs
I DO require a non-refundable deposit equaling half of the final price before any work is started on ALL custom orders. After work is approved and completed the second installment will be listed and the item(s) will be shipped according to our agreement.
