I've been in love with pigeons all my life. My dad was a well-known pigeon fancier. When I started living on my own I also had pigeons. When I had to move to an appartment.... it was with a balcony... Everyday there where a few pigeos that visit me and looking at me trough the window with their lovely deep little bead eyes.
Also, at that same time, a racing pigeon landed on my balcony while she suffered enormously of a broken leg and disabled wing. I took here inside and gave her the right medication, good food and water and a cozzy cage so she could recover slowly.
After a few weeks she was trygin to stand up straight and slowly and slowy trying to walk a litle bit. Just 4 months later she could fly again and walking a little bit but not like she was used to! Now she's for always in my house and I called here ''Bintje'' :-)

In July 2022, I had my second pigeon, which was a baby one of just 5 days old! I gave the baby to Bintje to have a friend and also someone she could raise up. She had already laided 10 eggs in the last 8 months since she was here, so I suprised here with a little baby! And she was so happy!
Now a few months later, the baby isn't a baby anymore! It's also a big girl called ''Foppe'' and those two togheter are my two lovely girls in my house!
