Creative outlet for a full time caregiver

I am a full time caregiver for my husband, who is a disabled veteran, and yarn dyeing is my creative outlet. I would consider myself an accomplished knitter, but there is no way I can possibly knit all of the yarn I dye.

I have had quite a lot of people ask me if I sell my yarn, and after 4 years of saying "Not at the moment, but maybe someday", that someday has arrived.

Born on my 44th birthday, Piggy Yarns is my way of sharing my love of colours and yarn with the rest of the world.

Do you offer tracking on shipping?

Due to the high cost of tracking when sending parcels by Canada Post, tracking is currently only available for packages sent within Canada. If you are in a different location and would like tracking on your package, please contact me prior to placing your order so I can give you an estimate.

Note: In the US, tracking tends to double the shipping cost. For other countries, the shipping can be up to three times the shipping cost or more.

Will you ship to countries not listed in the Shipping section?

Due to the sheer number of options for shipping, I have only calculated and listed the shipping for the most popular countries listed on Etsy. If you live in a country that is not listed, please contact me, and we can discuss the shipping options.

Do you offer custom orders?

It depends on my current volume of orders, but you won't know until you ask! Send me a message here on Etsy and we can discuss it.

If you are looking for a colourway that is sold out, for a Pride colourway that I do not currently carry, or if you want something different on a self striping colourway (I have had requests for different shades in my Harry Potter inspired colourways), please feel free to contact me to request a custom order. I may also be able to dye certain colourways on different bases.

Can you wind my yarn into a cake for me?

Absolutely! Just add a note when you place your order, and I will wind your yarn for you. The ball bands will not fit around the wound cakes, but they will be included in the package with your yarn

Can you mark my order as a gift when shipping?

Unfortunately, no I cannot do this. All of my shipping is done through my business, and through Etsy. This means all orders are automatically marked as retail sales. You are responsible for any customs/duty/import charges.
