Creating things from fabric has been a passion of mine for over 50 years. My Mother-in-Law was a dressmaker in Italy and taught me dressmaking, drapery-making, and décor. I have had other careers throughout my life--computer graphics and photographer.
When I retired, I had time to revisit some of my favorite avenues of creativity and began sewing again after taking a long time off for other careers. I'm not even sure how I found Etsy, but I did and started out making decorative pillow covers from popular Designer Fabric Collections. My experience on Etsy has far exceeded my expectations.
I start with the finest home décor fabrics and designer fabrics available. The pillows and shams are produced to professional industry standards. Most have invisible zippers or a decorative flange or envelop back.
I am now partnering with my daughter in two other shops creating children's clothing and holiday home décor.
