I love old stuff. Over the years I've developed quite an addiction to all things vintage. I say addiction because it's easier to explain it that way when I bring home yet another vintage suitcase and have to face my husband's judgmental stare. But the best part about finding vintage treasures (to me, anyway) is being able to buy vintage treasures! Because walking away FROM the 1950s Samsonite leather suitcase is not nearly as much fun as walking away WITH the 1950s Samsonite leather suitcase! Can I get an AMEN?!? So, my goal here at Pimpernel Vintage is to have fun finding these treasures and then, hopefully, help you have fun buying and enjoying them at affordable prices. So, please look around! The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
I promise to do my best to describe in great detail every item I sell. I will also provide pictures so that you can see exactly what you're getting when you purchase. Please remember that almost all vintage items have been previously loved and vintage clothing has almost always been previously worn so it is expected that it will show some wear consistent with its age. I will describe and post pictures of any major defects so that you can be fully informed.

If you have a major problem with your purchase, please contact me immediately so we can work towards a resolution. I know it's hard to buy clothing online, especially vintage clothing, so I am open to working with you towards a solution. Please read all descriptions and measurements and ask questions if you're still unsure about an item. I'm always happy to re-measure and send more pics! I will process returns if the item is returned within 7 days in its original condition for a refund of the purchase price minus a 20% re-stocking fee. I'm sorry but I cannot refund shipping!
Payment
I accept credit cards and PayPal. Payment is due at time of purchase, however, if you contact, me I can reserve an item(s) for up to 48 hours. Once the 48 hours is up, payment must be made or the item will be re-listed.
Shipping
I ship within 1 to 2 business days. If ordered early, your package can almost always be mailed same day (my local Post Office closes at 12 p.m. EST on Wednesdays and Saturdays). If you need it mailed ASAP, just let me know and I will make it happen. It will always be my goal to ship your item(s) out as quickly as possible. I almost always ship Priority via USPS (or first class if weight allows). If you want to arrange expedited shipping, please convo me and I will get you a quote.

*NEW* When ordering multiple items, Etsy will automatically charge shipping for the highest priced item (highest shipping). After that, each additional item will be shipped for only $1. This is a recent change in my shipping policy and all items should reflect it. Convo me if you come across one that doesn't and I will change it!

*** I cannot be responsible for lost packages in the mail once they have left my post office! I will be glad to assist in filing claims or trying to track down items but I cannot refund money if the Post Office loses a package.***

Local shoppers: We can arrange local pick-up. Just convo me before purchase and I will create a special listing minus shipping.

International shoppers, convo me for a quote for your specific country. I cannot calculate or collect customs charges and am not responsible for doing so.

In an effort to recycle, I will reuse shipping boxes and materials as often as possible. Please understand that this will help our planet as well as help keep your shipping costs low! So don't be surprised if your awesome vintage item arrives in a Pop Tarts box! And please don't judge me too harshly as a mom. :)

I do live in a home with pets - cats and dogs. All my inventory is kept upstairs in two always closed off rooms. They are not allowed in these rooms at all. But, because all my animals are cuddle bugs, there is always the chance that a stray hair or two could find its way to your item. I am always very careful about not transferring fur when I am handling the clothing but it's not completely out of the question! I know some allergies can be serious so please contact me if this is a concern!
