Here's a look at my home studio where I create.
I spend my days making cool (and mostly useful) stuff that's either too cute or too clever to pass up. Let's face it. We could all use a laugh.
Pink Peppermint Paper, LLC. was born in the fall of 2006, when, for the first time in years, I had a little time to kill. Just over a year earlier, I left my hectic ad job in Memphis and relocated to Shreveport, Louisiana. Quite pregnant at the time, I used the move as an opportunity to take some time off, catch my breath and prepare for motherhood. I stayed home. Unpacking. Nesting. Prepping for a baby, Then, he arrived. I blinked. He was eight months old, and I found myself looking for a way to connect with people from the outside world.
Poof! Pink Peppermint Paper was born. The first designs debuted to friends and family (God love them for playing along) in time for the 2006 holiday season, and the response was great. In late 2007, we welcomed a baby girl and things have been interesting! Since then, I have been busy chasing kids and building a portfolio of products and designs from my home studio. In Spring 2009, the online store went live followed by Pink Peppermint, the Blog in Fall 2009. In Summer 2010, we relocated to the greater Jackson, Mississippi area. As my kids have grown older, I've spent less time working on and throwing cute birthday parties, and I've branched out beyond personalized paper and invitations to include ready-made cups, napkins, notepads, mugs, shirts and more. I have been working with wholesale customers since 2016, and I dork out whenever I see my product in stores because, Hey! I made that. I have a wicked, dry sense of humor, and I secretly love being able to make people smirk with my stuff because I am a total introvert, and it's just easier this way. I am not sure why I am confessing this to you, but if you've read this far, well then obviously we are like destined to be friends.
