Announcement   Pink Umbrella specializes in hand crafted invitations for weddings, showers, parties of any kind and baby announcements. We use high quality papers to construct your invites. With 100's of colours to choose from, a large template gallery and the option to custom design, opportunities are endless. We can provide flat pieces with no layers, or pocket folds with details, we have options for every budget.

WHERE TO START: find a design that you love. Choose your quantity and purchase it. After you purchase your item, I will contact you within 48 hours to get the proofing process started. For invitations, you are able to change all wording and one round of colour changes. Once I have your information, you will be send a digital proof within 72 hours. No files will be printed until they have client approval. If more than 2 rounds of change are required, there will be additional fee's.

WHAT TO EXPECT: we print our invites on 100lb smooth uncoated white cardstock. invites come standard with white plain invitation envelopes. metallic, linen and colour paper and envelopes are available for additional fees. printing is done digitally at a print house for professional quality.

SIZES: invites are a standard size of 5x7. response cards are a standard of 4x5. other sizes are available, please inquire.

ASSEMBLY: we complete assembly of all invites before shipping them to you. all you will need to do is stuff, label, stamp & mail.

QUOTES: all projects are different. please do not hesitate to send us a conversation to start the process on a custom quote.

PRINTABLES: please note, we do not offer digital printable options.

OPTIONS: we can provide matching favour boxes, table numbers, menus, escort cards, seating plans, guest books, self addressed labels, thank you cards, shower invites, direction signs etc. don't have time to address your invites? we can address, stamp and mail your invites for you. all options are an additional fee. please inquire for costs.

SHIPPING: shipping is based on the size of your order. roughly $20 for domestic orders, and $35 for international wedding invitations orders. for all other invites, roughly $15. pick-up or delivery in Canmore & Banff Alberta is free. if you are in the area and wish to arrange for pick-up, please let me know when you are placing your order.

These invitations were perfect for me. I ordered them in green as shown and they came out beautifully! Shanna provides great customer service and is quick to reply to messages. She helped me create an invitation (once I frame an extra) I will treasure forever!

Working as a corporate graphic designer for 10+ years was a fabulous, fun loving, creative job, but not as creative as I thrived for. After doing the invitations for my own wedding in 2009, and getting carried away by making over 10 different designs to choose from, I decided I needed to add wedding + event invitations to my everyday life.

Every event is different, and so are the people planning them, meaning possibilities are endless when it comes to the look and feel of invitations. Your invitations set the mood.

WHERE TO START: start off by purchasing a deposit listing for $100. once a deposit has been received we will send you an email to get the ball rolling. once a design has been chosen, colours and wording submitted, you can expect a proof within 3 business days. More time will be required for custom designs. on average, from deposit purchase, to shipping time is 2-3 weeks, dependant on email response times and printing delays.

PRINTABLES: looking to purchase the file and print on your own? no problem! contact us and we will set up a private listing for your order. the file setup fee is $25. we can provide you with a pdf, or jpg.

SHIPPING: shipping is based on the size of your order and the address we are shipping to. every order is unique and quoted personally. after a package has left our shop, it is no longer our responsibility. we strive to ensure you items arrive to you in tact and on time, but ultimately it is up the postal system to make this happen.

THINGS TO KNOW:

Template Designs are allowed one set of colour changes and one set of text changes, with one set of minor changes afterwards, anything after this will be billed at $90/hour. If major changes are required after the first proof, a design fee will be applied of $90/hour, the client will be notified of this before any changes are made. If you choose to customize the fonts or have minor layout changes, a $60.00 fee applies. If a total redesign is to be done, a fee of $85/hr will be charged. Pink Umbrella does not sell our Template digital files. If the client chooses to cancel the contract, the Custom Design Fee (which is a reduced design fee for clients using our printing services) will be reassessed and all design will be billed out at an hourly rate of $85/hr. All items purchased for an order are non-refundable. Pink Umbrella retains the right to cancel a contract if a client is proven to not respect their work or has shown any signs of abuse. If Pink Umbrella cancels a contract all items purchased for the clients order and time spent on their project will be calculated and will be subtracted from the retainer paid, the remainder of the total will be refunded.

Although we try our best to ensure that all spelling is correct, it is ultimately up to the client to ensure that your stationery is 100% to your satisfaction before giving approval for print. All items must be ordered in multiples of 5 with a minimum of total of 30 for each piece. A 10% fee will be added to orders of less than 30 of each separate item.

Clients are fully responsible for all costs including printing, envelopes, paper, shipping/mailing, as well as any specially requested images and/or fonts required to produce the stationary. Don’t fret, these costs will be included in your final quote, or previously discussed with you before purchasing. All hand-crafted stationery is one-of-a-kind and each piece will vary. If the client chooses to add an item or items to your order, these items will be included in your final invoice. If the client chooses after the invites have been designed to take care of printing on their own, the Custom Design Fee (which is a reduced design fee for clients using our printing services) will be reassessed and all design will be billed out at an hourly rate of $75/hr. If a client chooses to cancel an item listed on their invoice after this contract is signed, there will be a fee for materials ordered. Once a retainer is paid, papers for your order will be purchased, once this happens there can be no changes to the original invoice.

All couples are required to pay a 50% non-refundable retainer prior to the commencement of any design work, and rest 50% before items are sent to the printer. We accept cheque, email money transfers or Credit Card. A 3% service charge will apply to all invoices over $1000 paid by Credit Card. By signing this contract, the couple agrees to paying the amount quoted (see page 2). All info for your project is required a min. or 3 weeks prior to your requested date of completion. If info is not received within this time frame, a 15% rush surcharge may apply. Once a tracking number is attained on shipped parcels, Pink Umbrella Designs is no longer responsible for it’s delivery. We will help you resolve the issue with the shipping company, but we are not liable for any extra costs. By paying the retainer on the attached invoice, you agree to the terms of this contract. Please note, clients will be required to pay extra postage when mailing out heavier invitation sets. All orders under $200.00 CAD will require full payment up front.

Pink Umbrella retains the right to use finished pieces as samples both in person, on social media or in advertising, unless the couple otherwise states. If you would like your stationery to remain anonymous please inform us ASAP and we will gladly adhere to your wishes. Will will only share complete samples after your event has passed.

Now that we’ve got that out of the way, I am looking forward to creating your perfect, eye catching stationery.

Payment
A deposit is required before project commencement. All funds are due in full before any paper orders are placed or images sent to print. Shipping is not included in price per piece, but will be quoted with your quote. Tax will be based on your please of residence.
Shipping
Shipping is based by weight and destination. All packages will have insurance and tracking numbers. Samples will be sent via regular post in an envelope, and have no tracking number. After a package has left our shop, it is no longer our responsibility. We strive to ensure you items arrive to you in tact and on time, but ultimately it is up the postal system to make this happen.
Refunds and Exchanges
Once you purchase your listing, and your first proof has been sent to you, there can be no refunds.

Once a customer has approved an order for printing the project is considered satisfactory by the customer. We will never print an order without your full approval to ensure your invites are exactly the way you want them.

If your package arrives damaged, we will be more than happy to file a claim with the carrier and re-print and re-send to ensure your satisfaction.
