Etsy automatically translates most text on the site to your preferred language.

Writing should not be obsolete

I get it. The internet, email, skype, etc. These are all so convenient and I use them just as much as the next person. But writing with paper and a pen/pencil should not become obsolete. Take time to jot a note or write down a recipe using real paper and pen. You'll enjoy this lost art.

My books are also great for gift giving to teachers, brides, secret pals, relatives, children, and more.

    HI there. I'm Alice and I'm the sole owner/operator of PipingHotBooks. I create all the books/journals you see in my shop using either paper or fabric covers. No prefabbed things here. Well, maybe the floppy disks and UNO cards, but I handmake them.

Returns and exchanges
I am not responsible for items lost due to the post office failing to deliver your package. But I will try to work with you on resolving any issues of non-delivery or damage to your merchandise.

International orders take from 6 business days to 8 weeks to arrive. If there is a delay in receiving your package, it is most likely tied up in customs of the receiving country. You are welcome to upgrade your international order to Priority Mail International with insurance for an additional charge. Please contact me prior to purchasing your items if you would like to upgrade your shipping.
Payment
Credit Card via Etsy and Paypal are the preferred methods of payment, but I will discuss alternative methods. Please contact me with questions.
Shipping
All items shipped first class mail (first class international for international buyers). All items are mailed with nice packaging inside a bubble envelope. I use Etsy shipping labels for U.S. and international customers. An email from Etsy will be sent when the shipping label is created, along with a delivery confirmation number (U.S. only on the confirmation number).

Shipping prices include the cost of packaging, postage, and the trip to the Post Office.

All customs charges are the responsibility of the recipient. I will not mark a package as a "gift" unless you are truly sending your package to another person as a gift. This is illegal. Please do not ask me to do this.
