Announcement   Welcome to PJ Crafts World where everything is hand crafted by with hubby (Jerry) or myself (Pat). We enjoy working with our hands and take pride in creating unique products. We specialize in jewelry with magnetic stones or Murano glass. Our herbal soaps (glycerine bars) are of the highest quality. And we grow many of the herbs used.

As for my hand knitted products, I have been knitting as long as I can remember. My grandmother taught me many years ago. I have won Best of Show awards at many of our local fairs and state fair. Any of my knitted items can be customized as to color of yarn and size.

About

We love sharing our talents with others

Our business is solely owned by a husband and wife team. We are retired and supplement our social security by selling our craft items either here on Etsy or in local craft shows. Not only does it supplement our income but we get outside our home base and meet many new people. Each person we meet is unique and we love meeting them.

We've both been crafting for many years; however, over the years our crafts have settled in to a few main areas. For hubby it is the jewelry many which are one of a kind. He has developed a real talent for crafting beautiful pieces of jewelry using either magnetic stones or Murano glass beads.

I have been knitting since I was old enough to hold a pair of knitting needles. My grandmother would sit me on her lap, place the needles in my hands and guide them. Every time I knit I still feel a very close connection to my grandmother. It is a skill I hope to pass on to my own grandchildren.

Our soap is a glycerin based product. We use only natural products in our soaps many of which we grow ourselves (Aloe, Rosemary, Loofa, Eucalyptus, etc.). The products we must purchase we scour the internet to make sure we are purchasing only the finest and most natural products available. We started making soap when our granddaughter was born with Downs Syndrome and her skin was so sensitive all commercial products caused her to break out. After much searching we decided to try to make a natural product to see if it would work for her. And it did. I admit there was a lot of trial and error in the process but we did eventually develop a formula that works. She is now 26 years old and still can only use our product.

We also have a greyhound. Greyhounds are notorious for skin conditions. The poor things used to drive me crazy with his chewing and scratching. One day our of sheer desperation. I grabbed a bar of Tea Tree Oil soap with Chamomile that we had just finished making for our granddaughter and gave Fame a shower. I thought I had a different dog! He stopped chewing and scratching. Knowing that Eucalyptus is a natural flea repellant I decided to crush some from our tree and add it to his soap. Now if he starts chewing or scratching I know it's time for a shower.
