Announcement Welcome to my little shop of dreams. I love creating and hopefully you will find something in PKDREAMS that will tickle your fancy and bring joy to your heart and a smile to your face. I also love collecting and possibly you will find a vintage piece that you would love to add to your own collection. Realize that everything in my shop except for my vintage items, will be handmade and may not be perfect...that's part of the beauty of handmade, and no two will be exactly alike. I will do everything that I can do to make sure your purchase is something you can display with pride. Happy Shopping.

I bought the "Little White Church on a Backroad" bag for a gift because I love the photography and know the quality is good. The recipient of the gift is very pleased with the bag.
pkDreams...the embodiment of my love of creating, collecting and photography
Etsy is my very first adventure into the world of offering my talents to the world, and for a price. I love the process of creating and I so hope that others will see my creations and admire them. I have given away so many of the things that I have created simply because someone admired them and complemented me on the finished product. Finally my daughters suggested that I try an Etsy site because it seemed to be a great place for someone with no retail experience to make an impact. I opened my first Etsy shop in 2011 but was not too fastidious in making it a working place. I sold a few of my creative objects and was thrilled; however, I found myself spending more time with the creative process and less time with the marketing process. I now find myself with more time to devote to marketing while still having time to create and do my photography. I often make various craft items such as altered art wine and whiskey bottles, frames, and other crafty projects; however, I am mostly a digital photography artist. I love all the things I see around me from the mundane to the phenomenal, and if I can capture one of those things in a moment in time, I am happy. I take my work seriously, life not quite so seriously. Beauty in this world makes my heart smile. Sadness and ugliness in this world makes my heart cry. If I can show the beauty or the ugliness through a lens, it makes me feel as though I have accomplished something special. Most of my work is photography. I play with some of my images digitally to bring different dimensions to my work, giving some of it an artistic look...abstract, watercolor, pencil...there are so many things that can be accomplished artistically on the computer. I just want to observe, capture and cherish the moments so that they may be enjoyed now by others and in the future by those who come after me. I do all of the work on my creative items including the printing of my photos on high quality premium plus photo paper. I also now have some wonderful new products such as tote bags, pillows and shower curtains that are produced by Fine Art America using my photographic images for the final item. I'm excited about these products and hope that they will be shared and accepted by those of you who are looking for unusual things that will not be found in a physical retail shop. I appreciate all who take the time to visit my "shop of dreams" and hopefully you will find some special thing that will make your heart smile. I have no other shop members.
