About

Home-made, hand-sewn, one-of-a-kind puppets.

When you buy a puppet from Peter's Puppets, you can rest assured that it's made by a guy with a tattoo of Kermit the Frog at the exact moment he sings "MAGIC" in "The Rainbow Connection" at the beginning of The Muppet Movie.

Peter's Puppets believes that punk is the new prog, and prog is the new punk. Which means that both Gentle Giant and Bad Brains are acceptable music to listen to while making puppets.

Peter's Puppets also believes that there's no need to buy new things when old things are available, so founder Peter Krueger makes it his mission to scour thrift stores and garage sales for puppet-making supplies: vintage fabric, creepy doll faces, old ribbon, weird doll eyes and noses, and whatever other crafty treasures are dangerously near residing in a landfill. RE-PURPOSE is the chain in the recycling system that Peter's Puppets seeks to fulfill.

One last note from Peter: "hand-sewn" means just that! These puppets never see a sewing machine at all. Making puppets is what I do when I don't feel like reading and I'm sitting in my chair, watching Twins games or my wife's favorite shows. It probably takes a little longer, but it assures that each puppet truly receives my full attention. If you want to know which puppet of mine is my favorite, it's ALWAYS the one I'm working on.

Enjoying a lifelong love of puppets, especially the Muppets and Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, Peter began making them in earnest in 2011. He soon dusted off the Etsy Shop he created and forgot about, and dubbed it "Peter's Puppets."

I ship through USPS, and provide you with a tracking number.

For international shipping, I ship the most economical way through USPS, which is usually First Class. If you require anything more than that, let me know and we will re-calculate the shipping. I cannot be responsible for any customs or taxes that your country charges you upon receipt.
Refunds and Exchanges
If for some reason you are not satisfied with your item or it is damaged when you receive it, please contact me. I will be happy to work with you in resolving the situation.
