About

Plaidypus was created to offer funky and eco friendly accessories to those who just want something a little different.

Plaidypus was created from the need for homemade gifts for family and friends. Eventually, someone said, "Hey, you could sell this somewhere!" So I did.

It started with crocheted fingerless mittens, and expanded to using old clothing from the ARC to experiment with new patterns and new ideas. Ever since then I've been looking for ways to upcycle old t-shirts, sweaters, jeans, etc. into funky clothing and accessories.

Plaidypus is currently being carried in Wadoo Furniture and Gifts in Fort Collins. We can also be found attending a few different Colorado arts fairs, such as the Fort Collins Annual Sustainable Living Fair, ArtStir Denver, or the Colorado College Arts and Crafts Fair. This year we are expanding to include Minnesota fairs, beginning with the Austin Artworks Festival in Austin, MN!
