Such a lot of lovely fabric and ideas and not enough time!!
I love to sew, quilt, knit and crochet.
This goes back quite a few generations in the females on both sides of the family, with painting, sculpting and woodworking being keen interests in the men in the family too.
We always seem to be making something.
There are only so many quilts that a family can have, so I started to make make up bags and pencil cases for friends and family as gifts.
Encouraged by their comments I decided to look at selling them too.
So that's where Plain Creations started.
Initially I thought that it would help in using up my fabric stash, but with drawers full of fabric, it still never have quite the right one for the project and have to buy more!
I've decided to concentrate on creating and designing patterns now instead of made items. I hope that you like something in my shop. More patterns coming soon ...
Having just acquired a small loom I'm looking forward to learning to weave my own fabric, alhough this could take some time....

I studied Maths at Uni and have always loved patterns and shapes. This lead to my love of patchwork and quilting and any form of sewing. I enjoy making up patterns and experimenting with different fabrics.
