I have been attracted by her works for a long time but didn’t have any proper chance to place an order as I thought it’d be a little tricky. But the actual payment was easy, the shipping was fast and I had it framed right away. Am very happy to be able to see her fabulous print every day!

This item is beautiful! I had it framed and it looks stunning. Beautiful work. I received the item very quickly even though it was coming from another country.

This is such a beautiful and original Christmas tree with a custom request glitter. It brightened up our house instantly, bringing a festive and holiday feeling. Her works are vibrant and cheerful. I am always satisfied with the quality and the beauty of her Fine Art Prints. I have been collecting many of her works, and MOMEKO is great to work with. I definitely recommend Planet MOMEKO!
Spread love through ART!
Hello! Welcome to the colorful and imaginative land of Planet MOMEKO.
I am a professional artist and every art in Planet MOMEKO is created by me in my studio.
I started making art since I can remember holding a crayon as a toddler. I come from a line of artistic family. My fraternal grandfather was a great calligrapher, an amazing haiku poet and a bonsai master, and my maternal grand father was a photographer, chef and entrepreneur. My mother always taught me all kinds of arts and crafts from basket weaving to shadow box art (you name it), while I grew up. Being creative was how we grew up in our household, which memory I cherish. I was always surrounded by beautiful and imaginative art at home. I hope that my art will bring a lot of happy and creative energy to your home to feel love and joy of being alive, just like how I remember growing up. You will see a unique blend of cultural influences in my art as I grew up in Japan, United States, and in Europe.
When making art, I do not do any sketches before I start. I just dive into the unknown and see what happens over the course of time, sometimes taking months to compete one artwork. When you let go of fixed ideas, you can actually surpass any limits and it frees my soul and opens up my creativity. I love working with different materials and medium, including graphic design, and in a variety of styles and subject matters to keep my creative potentials open. I enjoy using hands, mixing colors, and totally melt into the present moment. That is when I feel alive!
My artworks are reflection of my life! Ever since my daughter was born 2 years ago, I have been very passionate about making beautiful, original and unique nursery fine art with much love. I find it important to share good work of art with children even as young as a newborn to stimulate their senses, emotions and joy of creativity.
One of my goals as an artist is to send my love through my art and also help people in need to make a better world... I started a "Healing Art Donation Project" in response to the 3.11.11 disaster in Japan and opened a shop at Etsy. A portion of all my print sale in my shop (except for custom orders, originals and one of a kind print) will be donated to JAPAN RELIEF EFFORTS. In combination with the sales from Etsy and other art sales, I donated total of $1624.92 to help Japan so far. Thanks for your support.
I have been showing my art in galleries for years and now I can share my art with not only just gallery goers, but also with other moms and handmade lovers like me, so Etsy is a perfect venue as I can work on art while I take care of my family. You can purchase with confidence that my prints are museum quality that brightens your day!
Please send me a message if you want to request a custom order print, commission an original piece or have any questions. I love hearing from you.
