Announcement    Welcome to Plank & Pearl Vintage, where I strive to bring you unique, beautiful, and well-cared for vintage items sourced from the Rocky Mountain Region and beyond. I'm deeply passionate about the history, design, and functionality of treasures from other eras and countries, and believe in the sustainability of buying from thrift stores, estate sales, and the occasional alley on trash pickup days! I'm just always astounded at the things people choose to toss in a dumpster, rather than taking a moment to see if an item can be fixed, up-cycled, or donated.

Over the past 15 years, I've narrowed my focus to collections that really inspire me and ignite my imagination. A few of my special interests include mid-century modern home decor, fun tableware, linens, textiles, artwork, books.

Caring about my customers and providing excellent service is my top priority. I love to communicate about what I'm selling, and hearing feedback on your experience with my shop--from a first message to receiving the package on your doorstep. Let's keep in touch. And feel free to make requests to have a particular item placed on my "I'll Try to Find It!" list.

Plank & Pearl: Blending the Rustic and Refined

If you leave me alone in a Big Box Store for too long, I become disoriented and faint from the florescent lighting and overpowering smell of plastic. But if you drop me off at a thrift store, yard sale, or antiques shop, I'll happily spend the day and get a ride home later!

I love old, beautiful things. I love that each piece I acquire has likely had several previous lives before we met. I love the structure and clean lines of mid-century design and the fun, party feel of 1960's retro housewares. I adore the quality of vintage china and linens, and the quirky hominess of wooden plaque art. I love that vintage is green and sustainable, and teaches us about other generations and other perspectives of home, art, entertaining, and fashion.

I started my Etsy shop many years ago, selling almost 300 items before I took a break to build a vintage rental business for weddings and events. COVID-19 took a devastating toll on so many small businesses in our country, and the events industry was hit hard. I've closed my rental company and pivoted back to online sales. The good news is that I have a storage unit of vintage treasures from my work in rentals and as a stylist.

So I'm delighted to be back on this platform, and look forward to meeting new friends and customers!

I'm a Denver-based vintage treasure hunter, curator, and stylist. Before COVID, I was likely to be found in a bookstore, coffee shop, or out to dinner with friends. I had to close my vintage wedding rental biz, but am happy to be back selling on Etsy
