5 out of 5 starsEasy pattern to follow. Great instructions. I made one for Christmas for my son and I'm working on one for myself now. Gender neutral so this works for pretty much anyone.

3 out of 5 starsI 100% understand I should've read the description closer to know this is a graph only but I have bought patterns that include written instructions and a graph for the same price. On the first page o. The graph pattern is states this graph is meant to accompany the pattern that has actually stitch counts and more information. I just don't understand how this seller thinks it's fair to sell them separately and when I reached out with a question she just sent me a link to the pattern with a coupon option. The only solution provided was for me to spend more money in her shop and when I told her I didn't want to spend anymore money on patterns at the moment and I just had the one question she never responded. It's been quite a few days since this conversation and nothing. So I feel like I got snubbed for not spending more money.

4 out of 5 starsI found the written pattern, by itself, confusing. But! The tutorials that the pattern links to on YouTube were excellent!! Good customer service. The tutorial links were temporarily not working. After messaging the shop owner, she was able to fix the link quickly. overall, a favorable opinion.

I learned to crochet on Thanksgiving Day, 2006. I was pregnant with my oldest girl, Bryn. My sister-in-law had just learned to knit and crochet to pass the time between curtain calls and had her yarn with her. In an effort to avoid doing the post-feast dishes – actually I was mesmerized watching her, the cleaning thing was a bonus – I asked her to teach me. Later that night we went to a friend’s house where I worked on my swatch - all the while thinking that a sl st was actually a sc. It was the ugliest, wonkiest, brightest little yellow swatch, but I was seriously proud – That was just the beginning.
I started Playin’ Hooky Designs in 2009 out of necessity. I didn’t want to stop learning and making beanies, so I had to start selling them to pay for my yarn habit. Very quickly I realized that I had designs in my head that I couldn’t find patterns for, so I start creating my styles. I like creating designs for men, women, and kids alike; beanies that can be worn by everyone whether they spend every day in the mountains, or just want to look like they do.
Playin’ Hooky is my business and my passion. I work from home in the mountains of Colorado… when my kids let me. Come to think about it, that’s probably why I mostly specialize in beanies… they’re small, relatively quick, and crochADD-proof. ;)

PATTERNS: Due to the electronic nature of my patterns, I cannot offer refunds.
Payment
For buyers who wish to pay with a credit card without a PayPal account: At checkout click on the PayPal icon and you will be redirected to PayPal, click the “I do not have a PayPal account” and follow the instructions (you will not be required to create an account to complete a purchase).
I ask for upfront payment on all custom (made to order) orders. When we finalize your order, I'll create a custom listing for you. I can then ship the hat as soon as I'm finished. I always let you know ahead of time what the current estimated shipping time is.
Shipping
All of my finished item listings are for custom made beanies, headbands, and discs (unless otherwise stated). I like this because it gives you control over exactly what your item will be. But that means that I might have to order supplies (I live in a tiny town with no craft store) which affects shipping times. Always ask first if you're under a time constraint.
PATTERNS: All of my individual patterns and "both sizes" deals are now available for instant download. You will get a confirmation email from Etsy with a link to download your patterns. You can also find them under "Your Account", "Purchases & Reviews".
The "Pick" deals are not available for instant download. Upon clearance of payment from PayPal, pattern will be sent within 24 hours via email to the email address on the PayPal account in PDF format. I will not ship patterns to more than one email address. Please ensure you have a PDF reader before purchasing this pattern; free versions of PDF readers are available online. If you haven't received your pattern within 24 hours of ordering, please check your Spam folder and let me know. I'm happy to resend patterns to the original email address.
