About

Because cards are always more fun to get in the mail than bills... she plays nicely with paper.

I think I actually have an obsession with paper. I have more than I should and even after I use the majority of it, I still want to keep the scrapy bits because I always think "I can make something out of that".
I am a curious person, by nature and the idea of creating something every day is my purpose and my challenge. Cards will always be my first love. I spend much of my time finding the paper and coordinating stamps or sentiments that will make each card great. The process usually takes between 30 - 90 minutes per card. I can make as many of them as I'd like with all my supplies and then give them away! My supply started getting so large, that I decided to sell some of them. My hope is that when you give someone a handmade card, they feel the intentionality of the selection of paper, the coloring of the character, and the stamped sentiment and know it was chosen for them.
As a kid, I remember getting the mail for my parents' house on my way home after school and always hoping there was something in it for me. No, I didn't have a pen pal or even a subscription to a magazine; I was just delighted by the idea of a surprise in the mail that had my name on it.
So forever live snail mail and the delight and surprise of having something come in the mail with your name on it that makes you smile, cheers you up, wishes you well or gives you comfort.

Anytime is a good time to send a card and really, who doesn't love going to the mailbox and it is filled with a handmade note telling the person, they are awesome. I want to make those cards for you.
