The behind-the-scenes process of creating the Mary and Jesus painting. Many hours of work went into this piece.
I am a busy wife and mom of four small children. When our twins were born, we had four kids all 3 years and under. It was a bit of a whirlwind, but now that they are a bit older, I use my spare time to create art and am happy to be able to share some of that with you.
While my background is in Lutheran Elementary Education, art has always been a love of mine. I enjoy learning new skills to use in my artwork. I love to paint, but with small children, the ability to also create art on my computer has been a blessing. All of my digital art has been completely self-taught. Just recently, though, I have begun learning how to paint with oils. It's a fun process, and I hope to add more prints of paintings to the shop soon.
