This is very nice wrap. Smells terrific and puts me into a wonderful state of relaxation. My eye ophthalmologist recommended a moist heat pack for my dry eyes. This works brilliantly. Great for a quick afternoon cat nap as well as it blocks out the light. I bought on for each member of my immediate family and am back to order more for my extended family members!

This stuff is ahhhmazing. My kiddo gets crazy welts when she gets bit by mosquitos. The relief from itching with this salve was immediate and her welts went down so quickly. Highly recommend and will purchase again!

A Real Family Farm in Tionesta, PA

The Stevensons have owned & operated Pleasant Valley Farm in rural Tionesta, PA since 1990. Dan and his wife Emily are the second generations of Stevensons to care for the land here. Pleasant Valley farm markets their organic produce & herbs, humanely raised meats, and canned products that make the most of the gardens' bounty directly to the public at their farm stand on the historic 50-acre farm. The farm stand is open each year from Memorial Day weekend through the end of November.

The farm is home to 100+ year old buildings (the barn was built in 1894 and isn't even the oldest building here!), heirloom plants, heritage breeds of livestock like Dexter cattle, Bourbon Red turkeys, Belgian work horses and Delaware & Barred Rock chickens, as well as a variety of other animals and birds, even including peacocks! Emily and Dan farm without any employees, except the team of Belgian horses used in the fields. They rely on the mother-daughter team (who were both born on the farm & trained by Dan) rather than use tractors, and are currently training a team of Dexter oxen as well. Emily and Dan are passionate about preserving historic, endangered species of vegetables and livestock, as well as antique machinery and the knowledge of how to do things the old-fashioned way.

Emily and Dan love to build, create and do. Dan built a blacksmith shop here at the farm and creates beautiful hand-forged metal work using a coal fire, anvil, hammers and other hand tools, just as these items would have been made a century ago. Emily uses her college minor in art to create handmade jewelry and other beautiful decorative items. Many use recycled elements, floral elements from things grown in the garden, and/or feathers from the birds that call the farm home. The natural body care items came from her desire to use wholesome products without harmful chemicals. Her latest creative outlet is sewing, and she loves to use vintage patterns with modern fabrics to create beautiful, useful pieces that cane be enjoyed for years to come.

Welcome to Pleasant Valley Farm's online store! We are a family owned and operated farm located in wild and beautiful Tionesta, PA. We are the second generation of Stevensons to work the fields here, and only the third family to be on the farm since its inception as a land grant for military service just after the Revolutionary War. We raise a wide variety of livestock (and sell meats directly to our customers), produce, and herbs here at our farm, using only organic methods and humane, pasture based systems for all our animals. Our only employees are our team of Belgian draft horses, which we use for all of our field and farm work. Our vision is to maintain a working family farm as it would have been many years ago. We're proud to be the stewards of 50 acres, including a beautiful barn built in 1894. Our fields are maintained using a variety of antique machinery. We also raise (endangered) heritage breeds of livestock and heirloom vegetables and flowers. For more information on our farm, including hours, directions, information about how and why we farm, and lots of pictures, please visit our homepage at You can also find us on Facebook & Instagram for lots of fun farm updates!

Our online store contains a variety of items. Dan is a blacksmith and woodworker. His hand-forged items are made using old time methods of a coal fire, and anvil and hammers and other hand tools. These items are solid American craftsmanship designed to be both beautiful and useful for many years to come. Dan also creates whimsical welded metal sculptures using metal pieces that would otherwise be destined for the junk yard. We pride ourselves not only on making wonderful creations, but on repurposing and recycling whenever possible!

Emily creates a selection of feathered items such as jewelry and hair accessories. All feathers are humanely harvested during molting season from the free range birds that live right here on our farm. Other jewelry creations are made by recycling images from seed catalogs and scraps of glass. Our natural body care products are chemical free, used only natural ingredients, and utilize essential oils for scents, never artificial perfumes. Emily also makes other unique items such as hand-woven wreaths made from vines grown here at the farm, stained glass items, sewn items and more.

Our shop now includes a section called "Vintage Treasures". While these items are not handmade here on the farm, they are vintage items we've found at auctions and other second hand sources. We love old things and find that many items from yesteryear are still beautiful and functional today. We are excited to expand our shop to share some of these finds with you!
