Disappointing transaction. Deplorable customer service. Horrendous communication. Slow to ship. Communicated incorrect shipping info. (assured item was shipped on 12th, shipped 5 days LATER!) Item not a nice as photo and was shipped/wrapped poorly. (arrived tangled!) Amateur, not professional.

I always enjoy the personal thank you from the seller. The design of the earrings are unique. However, I anticipated a bit more quality for $35. That is why my rating is neutral.

I never received my item, and never received replies regarding my order, until I requested a refund from the seller weeks later. Once I requested a refund, the item was shipped. VERY UNSATISFACTORY CUSTOMER SERVICE.
The perfect balance of feminine and edgy.
I started Poison Apple NYC while living in Manhattan back in 2003. At first I had this crazy tripod website that I built myself and probably looked horrible. Despite my bad web design skills, people were responding positively to my jewelry designs and they began selling out and I was getting featured in blogs and magazines. A couple of years later I started selling in handmade markets around NYC and also getting my items into shops. Around 2007 I joined etsy and started getting a few sales here. Shortly after this I decided to make the switch to sell Poison Apple exclusively on etsy and i've been here ever since. My facebook fan page now acts as a behind the scenes peek into my jewelry before it's made it into the shop.
Check it out for promotions and discounts and to stay in the know when new jewelry hits the shop.
Poison Apple NYC jewelry has always had an element of "feminine, yet tough" i've often played with the ideas of juxtaposing dark imagery with cheeky girly imagery in my designs. For instance mixing pearls with skulls. I like the jewelry to have a bit of an edge to it. I use mostly reclaimed vintage materials mixed with new findings and a few modern materials. Many of the items i sell are one of a kind or limited edition. If you see something you like, you should scoop it up before it's gone. Because of the nature of using vintage materials, I cannot re-create many of the pieces.
