Wonderful gifts for wonderful people!

Welcome to Suede Sentiment, where everything happens in my small, sunny Aussie home studio. It's here I play with new ideas, stamp, form, polish, tumble, Photoshop, print, assemble and package. Phew!

Stories, memories and emotions are dear to me in my work ... It's wonderful having the opportunity to create personalised jewellery and accessories that hold meaning to a recipient; lovely reminders of the people, places, times and inspirations that are so special.

My glass dome range is also wonderfully personal in its own way ... I'm particularly drawn to words and images that evoke a smile, nostalgia, or bring a sense of strength or inspiration. These designs are not only adorable and tactile, but make ideal gifts.

I'm delighted and humbled that my items have featured in Distractify and Huffington Post; and even more so that Ricky Martin has one of my personalised scroll bracelets!

I appreciate your visit, and hopefully I'll have the opportunity to make a special accessory or piece of personalised jewellery for yourself or a loved one!

Returns and exchange details
If there's an issue with your order, please reach out immediately through Etsy messages so that I have the opportunity to listen and offer a solution.

By choosing to purchase from my shop it's expected that a buyer has read and accepts my terms and policies.

Unfortunately I cannot accept the following reasons for return or refund:

• Strictly NO REFUNDS for postal DELAYS
Please, only order from my store if you accept this policy, and are willing to wait the necessary delivery time for your package.

• Personalised/custom items.
• I am not liable for any charges associated with return and re-delivery, or for any loss of products as a result of incorrect address details, refusal of parcel or forgetting to collect it. I will send only to the address provided with the Etsy order, or in communication with me at the time of ordering.
• Loss or theft of parcel or item component/s in transit, delivery or during use.
• Incorrectly provided order information.
• Earrings, for hygiene reasons.
• Allergy or possible skin discolouration.
• Breakage or deterioration due to normal wear and tear or misuse, etc. Condition of each item is checked before sending.
• Deterioration due to water, chlorine, chemicals, perfume, antibacterial soaps or jewellery dips.
• Detachment of bracelet leather cord resulting from water, sport, or wearing to bed. If a bracelet is returned for repair and leather shows wear due to water submersion or neglect, I will need to request payment for repair/replacement and shipping.
• Slight imperfections of stamping on bracelet scrolls. Messages are hand stamped (not machine engraved) so letter placement and centering may not be 100% as in a factory machined item. Please know that I create every single piece with utmost care.
• Non-delivery: If postal theft is suspected it may be necessary to begin an investigation with your post office. Re-make is at my discretion in the case of non-delivery, rather than a refund.
• In the case of non-delivery I must be notified within 4 weeks, otherwise it will be assumed the item has been delivered, and no further action will be taken.
• Request for exchange/refund of non-personalised items is at my discretion. Please message me within 4 days of delivery. If permitted to return, the item is to be returned within 1 week of delivery, in new unused condition, in a bubble mailer for protection, returned with tracking. Refund issued once I receive item back in new unused condition, and is for item cost only, minus all shipping costs.
• Refund or exchange is not permitted for unauthorised (forced) returns.
• Damage: In the unlikely event of an item arriving damaged in transit, I must be messaged within 24 hours of delivery and photos must be provided (also of packaging damage if relevant). Item and packaging must be maintained for proof of damage. I can only assist if you still have the item and can demonstrate the issue.
• If a package arrives opened and 'empty', it will be assumed postal theft has occurred. It will be necessary for me to sight photos of the packaging, and I can only assist if the package has an Australia Post label stating it has been delivered in an 'empty' condition. A police report will need to be obtained by the buyer.
• Warranty: Strictly up to two weeks only from the date of receiving. Covers defect only, not normal wear and tear, misuse or loss of components. Please message me without delay through Etsy messages and attach a close-up photo/s of the problem (and packaging if damaged). An issue cannot be addressed without a photo/s.

Shipping
📭 ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIMES:
Usually 3-15 business days or so.
A guide only, as delays are possible at present due to Covid. Any delays due to the pandemic, postal services or weather events are beyond my control, and your patience is appreciated.
• By ordering from my store you are accepting the possible delivery time frame.
• My production time is 1 - 3 days.

ADDRESS:
I'll ship to the address on the Etsy checkout page, so please ensure it's correct. I cannot refund a lost parcel due to an incorrect address. If a parcel returns to me due to incorrect address, new payment for re-shipping will be requested.

CANCELLATION:
Accepted if requested within 3 hours of placing the order. Cancellation/order change is not possible if it's a personalised or hand stamped item on which I've already started work, or on an item/s which has already been sent.

PERSONALISED BRACELET ORDERS:
Please proof read message for the scroll, as I will stamp as you've provided it. Please specify if a message is to be in all capitals, otherwise I'll stamp in upper/lowercase, which is generally more aesthetically pleasing and often necessary so ensure the message fits the scroll.

JEWELLERY CARE:
• Clean jewellery with a soft jewellery cloth
• Avoid water, chlorine, chemicals and fragrance
• Avoid wearing jewellery during swimming, bathing, sports & bedtime
• Glass dome items are not baby chew toys - excessive moisture may collect behind the glass dome and possibly dislodge it

Important Bracelet Ordering Information

Please provide a WRIST measurement. Measure snug (firm) around the narrow part of the wrist. Use a tape measure, or use string and measure against a ruler. Do NOT add extra to the measurement please, as I will add to the measurement for a comfortable fit at my end.

Glass Dome Necklace Care

A little care will help ensure your necklace is lovely for a long time:
- When possible store in a plastic ziplock bag to avoid humidity.
- Remove before showering, swimming, sport and bed time.
- If cleaning is required use a soft dry cloth.
- Avoid direct contact with water, fragrance, cleaning chemicals, jewellery dips, chlorine, hairspray and babies mouths.
- Necklace and keychain settings are plated - some degree of tarnishing or discolouration is normal over time. The above tips will help your item to maintain its original appearance for as long as possible.
