Announcement   Welcome to Out of Nowhere - original art, art prints, and art products: mugs, coasters, and other items designed by me and featuring my artwork. All reproductions are made locally by self-employed businessmen and businesswomen. NONE of my items are mass-produced! Each is hand-produced, one by one.

This shop includes realistic art, Western art, portrait art, and horse art. It is where I display the best work my talents have to offer. All work comes from my own photography. I depict my life and my experiences using subjects that are personal to me.

I have been painting and drawing from the time I was tiny kid, ever since my Mom first put the tools in my hands. I expanded this early love into a degree, earning my B.A. in Fine Art in 2007. Art is my all-consuming passion. I am committed to creating pieces I love that in turn, I hope others will love. My goal is to tell a story with each piece, and produce art that showcases the elements I love about my life.

Please look around. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. And, if you would like a custom piece, I will take commissions on many different subjects. I am happy to answer questions or help however I can. Please enjoy my shop, and thank you for visiting!

About

My passions, incarnate

Whether I am selling art or not is really of secondary importance to me. My passion is my art, and I represent all my other passions within it: horses, wide-open spaces, animals, interesting people, color, form, texture.

I say on a constant basis that I will continue to create art whether or not anyone ever buys anything from me again. Art is not a way to make money, it is a way for my soul to speak in physical form. And I speak using my own photography, taking images of my daily life and translating them into art for others to appreciate and enjoy.

My shop here is speaking to the world, telling the world about what I love, with the hope that others will love and appreciate what is important to me too. Art is creation, it is in harmony with the driving forces of the universe. Without creation all would cease to be. And to me, life is about enjoying and creating beauty that can be shared, so I want to surround myself with all that is beautiful, peaceful, inspirational. I hope that comes through in my artwork.

I grew up on a ranch as a descendant of homesteading pioneers. I have loved horses all my life and wish to show with my artwork all that I love and appreciate about this area and its inhabitants, using diverse media to show the diversity of my home.

Hello Guests! In my shop, you will find prints of artwork I create, and some originals. I work in a variety of mediums - pencil, watercolor, oil, acrylic, pen and ink, and lately have been making pieces from a special type of clay. I will continue to list prints and pieces as they become available.

My purpose here is to showcase my work and provide high-quality originals and art prints for your enjoyment. Art is an all-consuming passion to me. I work from those scenes and images that inspire me and reflect aspects of my experiences that I wish to share with others so that they may too appreciate my favorite aspects of my life.
