Do you provide a proof?

Proofs, if applicable, are sent to your email on file in 1-2 business days. You'll want to use a valid email address that you check regularly for ordering and be prepared to approve on time. We'll hold the proof for 72 hours (with reminders) before sending to print as is. Generally, 1 initial proof and 2 rounds of minor revisions are included in your purchase price. Additional edits or requests may incur additional costs. Please note, your approval is not required for us to process your order.

Customizing a Design // Font Change Policy

The listed price reflects the design shown. For customizations to designs shown that are more than just changing names, dates, etc., please email us ahead of time to be sure we can accommodate your request, especially if your request includes adding more text than what is shown on the sample, like adding/removing/changing graphics. We'll advise you at that time if we can accommodate your request and if extra design fees will apply.

𝗙𝗢𝗡𝗧 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗦: All of our items are sold with the fonts shown for the base price. Customization to fonts is $5. Our font policy is not negotiable.

Damaged Items Policy // Order Issues & Concerns

In the rare event that a personalized or custom order arrives damaged in shipping, we will replace it free of charge, but we MUST receive photos of the NEW, UNUSED item and its packaging first, within 3 days of delivery, to document for the carrier. Please contact us within 3 calendar days of delivery as determined by the order tracking so we can best assist you.

For any other issues with your order, we MUST be contacted within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of your concern so we can evaluate and assess, and provide resolution if warranted. After 3 calendar days have passed, we may not be able to assist with any order issues or concerns. Time is of the essence so please do not delay in contacting us. Thank you!

Cancellations & Returns: Not Accepted

The products we sell are custom and personalized, and we start working on them right away to adhere to our promised timeframes, so we are not able to accept cancellations.

We are not able to cancel your order if you don't like the way a certain letter or word looks in your proof. You have options to change and customize your order for an additional cost, but we cannot cancel the order once we start it.

Personalized and/or custom items are not eligible for return/refund. We are not able to take returns due to misspellings or grammatical errors in your approved proof regardless of where they originate. Your signed proof approval indicates that you have reviewed and are accepting the wording and layout shown to be used for the final print.

My date has changed since I made my order // Can you change the date on my printed item I've already received?

We truly sympathize with all brides planning their events during the pandemic. That said, our items are printed professionally - once an item goes to print, we can't change it. To do so is considered a new order by our production partners, subject to new charges. Materials are used to make these items which are not free, so if they have to start over and print a new date (or take one off), they will assess new fees. Please consider leaving a date OFF your item completely.

If your date changes or you want to remove it once your order has gone to print, you will have to place a new order for a new item.

If you've ordered from us previously and have one of our items with a printed date, please note we can't change the printing or remove it.

Shipping Addresses // Shipping Transit Times

Please double check your shipping address *prior* to checkout to be sure it is accurate and correct and where you wish your order to be sent. We cannot change your address once the order has gone to production, even if the order has not yet shipped out. You can update your address under You-->Account or do it during the checkout process as well.

We are not responsible for an order shipping to an outdated address because it was not updated during purchase. If an order is returned to us due to an outdated address, the buyer will be responsible for new postage.

We cannot control how long an item takes in transit once in the hands of the carrier. Transit times are estimates and not guarantees. We cannot guarantee delivery dates.

Our designs and our written content are copyrighted by Portside Paper. Duplicating our designs or written content constitutes copyright infringement and is prohibited. All designs are for personal use only and reproduction or resale is strictly prohibited.

Due to differences in manufacturers for monitor screens and mobile devices, we are unable to guarantee a color you see on your screen. There may be some variation in color from screen to print or screen to physical item within normal tolerance. Although we make every effort to represent items accurately, we cannot guarantee your computer monitor will accurately depict with 100% accuracy the actual color of the items. We do not accept returns or offer refunds based on color.

VAT/GST/Import Tax Policy for International Customers // International Addresses & Availability

Buyers are responsible for any import taxes that may be due on the items they purchase from us and thus import from the US. Etsy Help article on customs/import taxes: https://www.etsy.com/help/article/5023

We do not refund VAT or GST costs you may incur to import items. We will not accept returns because of a buyer's refusal to pay VAT, GST, or other duty tax.

International buyers must provide an accessible, available address for delivery including a local phone number. You are responsible for tracking your item and its estimated delivery to you. We do not accept returns because of "customer not available" or "business closed" tracking notes. Availability for delivery is YOUR responsibility. We are not responsible for missed deliveries.

Proofing & Production Times

Shipping transit time occurs *after* production time. Shipping carrier & transit options are shown during checkout. Please choose a shipping transit option that takes into account the time it takes the item to be made before shipping, and then the shipping days to get to you.

Please note that production and transit times are **estimates only.** Our process is custom and some variation may occur.

Again: Cancellations Not Accepted.

We DO NOT accept cancellations as all of our products are custom. If the item gets a proof, it is not an opportunity to "see if you like it," then cancel your order if you do not like your font or a certain letter; our time and materials are not free.

◈ We will not cancel your order because you don't like the way a certain letter or word looks in your proof. You will have options within our policies to customize for additional cost.

Proofs are meant as a SPELL CHECK ONLY for details you have given. Font/design changes will be an additional cost. Proofs are not a stop-gap opportunity to cancel your order if you "don't like it." This policy is firm and non-negotiable. If you don't like this policy, don't order - we are not the shop for you.
