Pugs, wombats and other chunky things
Poss & Wom are two characters that were inspired by motherhood and my pug, Daisy. Wombats are such an awesome, cute, chunk of an animal that so many people love, they deserve a higher status than what they are given. So many people have no idea how endangered certain wombat species are either. Forget foxes, deers, bunnies, owls, giraffes and elephants - now it's time to celebrate Possums and Wombats!
Each design is created with love and consists of soft, soothing colour tones that are beautiful and understated and most of the designs are gender-neutral. Poss & Wom fine art prints are created using the gicleé process - vibrant pigment ink onto museum quality archival rag paper with a 90 year expected lifetime. I print all of them myself and they are far from commercial or 'run-of-the-mill'. The cards and stationery I all do myself with high quality products and I take a lot of pride in the packaging and presentation too.
Since opening my Etsy store in 2010 Poss & Wom has attracted a strong fan base and now I have a lot more to offer than just prints and stationery. Finally I can feed my desire to begin fabric design! 2013 will see more textiles in the Poss & Wom range.
