I bought this set as a gift for my boyfriend and he loved it. This set was beautiful designed and is great quality. It is something that we will continue to use for a long time. Angela was also wonderful to work with and my order was shipped very fast!

About

As you can see from viewing my work, I enjoy making pottery that can be used around the house - things you can eat or drink out of or use for flowers. I try to make pots that feel right to my senses and are functionally and aesthetically pleasing. Basically I create work that make me happy while I make them and also when I use them, and hopefully you will too.

My work schedule tends to be in a four week cycle - wheel-throwing and slab work for a couple weeks, glazing for a week, and then firing/inventory/photography during the last week. I used to spend a lot more time at the wheel, since that's what I enjoyed the most. But lately, I find myself doing more slab work and having fun with brush painting on semi-dried pots. My most recent work reflects my current interest, which is brush-painting Korean words onto my pots as abstract decorations. They are my mantra words when I try to meditate, such as peace, gratitude, and love. Each pot comes with a tag with word definition and phonetic pronunciation guide. I hope they bring positive energy and good luck to their new homes, wherever that may be.
