About PotteryLodge
Houston Native with Two Cute Chihuahuas
I began creating ceramics in 2013, inspired by my grandmother and great-grandmother, who have created ceramics for decades. I learned the basics from them, and have since branched out into my own techniques and self-taught myself most of the methods I use today for the pieces I produce. I thoroughly enjoy exploring all of the many techniques that working with clay offers. In my shop you will find a lot of one of kind items, influenced by Japanese and Modern cultures.
My kiln is a 'baby', only 12x12 inches, with two levels. I produce small batches of my work at a time, making each kiln load precious and personal. Turning a lump of clay, into a functional piece of art, is so rewarding and I'm blessed to call my art my full time job.
I hope that when you receive one of my ceramic pieces that you are reminded of the hands that built it, the love that created it, and the dream that started it.

Pottery Lodge Ceramics are all handmade by me, Casi. Each piece is completely hand built, hand formed and hand glazed. Please appreciate the art of your piece. I take great pride creating my work and love that my hands can make you a one of kind item.

If you would like a refund please contact me with your concerns. Refunds are issued once you send back your order in it's original packaging to ensure it arrives to me in the way it arrived to you. Refunds are issued in full, minus shipping cost.

CANCELLATIONS - Personalized and custom items have to be canceled within 24 hours of your purchase. Once I begin working on your personalized/custom item I can no longer accept your cancellation request. Ready to ship items must be cancelled prior to you receiving your shipping confirmation. This is typically 3-5 days from purchase date.

Shipping
Whether you are purchasing your yourself or wishing to ship directly to your gift recipient, you can rest assure that my ceramics arrive in a professional manner. I use solid brown shipping boxes and USPS certified boxes. Each piece is generously and neatly wrapped in bubble wrap for protection. A PotteryLodge business card is tucked inside the top layer of bubble wrap for a polished gift look. I use additional crinkle paper, bubble wrap, and other materials to protect your ceramics when needed. All ring dishes arrive gift wrapped inside of a kraft box.
*Please note that once package is shipped I am no long in control of arrival times, but I am here to assist you in making sure your package(s) arrive safely to you. If you are experiencing a delay please contact me via Etsy and I will look into the matter for you to the best of my ability. *Please note that if you are an international buyer shipping can take up to 6 weeks. DAMAGED ITEM - If upon receiving your purchase the item is damaged, contact me within 7 days of delivery. Send me a picture of the item, the inside and outside packaging, and I will refund your purchase or offer you store credit.
