Announcement    Hello. My name is Kate and I made things here, to share with you and your family.

Once upon a time, Poverty.Jane stood for something. It stood for a place that one passionate person (me) could share with others (you) the concepts of green living, recycling and encouraging others in the world, that they could make a difference on the impact of the world.

As my family is growing, my needs are expended from Poverty.Jane, and lovingly so, to my babies and our small farm.

I can no longer post anything to sell here because what the business meant to me 4 years ago, has changed. So when the listings you see here now expire, that will be the end of Poverty.Jane.

But always know that I appreciate the journey it took me on, the people I met, and the difference we all made, and continue to make, in the world.

    Be in one my friends.

Someday, I will find time to walk upon a new path, my dream of a shop which will include my children and husband, The Art of Family. We have a shop opened, but have not attempted any creations, as of yet. But keep a look out for our opening. I hope it could appear within the year!

Hello and welcome to my little shop! I want to let everyone know that my philosophies are very simple and I am here to encourage mothers, fathers, grandparents and all family members the benefits of cloth diapering and natural wicking agents.

I am here to encourage and help those of you to either begin cloth diapering or to maintain that philosophy. This is truly a labor of love so I need everyone to understand the amount of time and energy that goes into making one diaper. I hand cut all materials and delicately hand press each and every button, serge every edge and pay very close attention to every stitch. From cut to stitch, there is roughly 5 hours of work put into every diaper. The price for each diaper only covers the materials used and money to buy more materials to make more diapers. I do not make a profit off of diapers, which is why its a labor of love. I need people to understand that so when they come asking for a better price, that I have already offered the best price I can afford to give.

My diapers are very different from some of the other diapers on line. I make 4 different featured diaper, which vary in price according to their functions and design. Many hours of scientific research has been to done to use only the best textiles. Many hours of reading and understanding what a baby needs are and how to meet them have been spent to create a diaper that your baby is not only comfortable in, but compatible with. I am very knowledgeable in Elimination Communication (EC) and Diaper Free methods. My diapers are designed to cater to those instinctual needs that your baby was designed with.

Dont just take my word for how wonderful my diapers are. Read what other moms, who reviewed my diapers, think.
