PrecociousPaper is taking a short break

"The items are adorable and of great quality, but this is my second order I have had to wait a bit later than the processing time for my items to ship out. I understand that life happens beyond our control sometimes, but communication is important to have with your customers. It might not be a bad idea to reevaluate you processing times if you can not keep up with them." The above review was originally written with 4 stars, but I decided to change it based on the recent convo sent to me from the seller. She told me it was not appropriate to tell her how to run her business. All I suggested with a reevaluation of times, as two of my items were not shipped as they claimed they were going to. I HAD TO CONTACT THE SELLER TO SEE WHERE MY ITEMS WERE. Communication from the seller just was not there.

Sadly, this transaction did not go well and I take total responsibility. When I agreed to a special listing (with 35% discount), I expected payment quickly. Instead, there was no communication from the buyer for 2 days before the listing was purchased. As my policy states, I don’t start an order until payment is received, so the timetable I had agreed to was no longer feasible. Instead of shipping Thursday, it shipped Friday. Yes, I should have communicated the likelihood of a delay sooner, but the same circumstances that made the original timetable unfeasible kept me from my computer. I have since thanked the buyer for her patience and assessment of my business practices. Going forward, I will apply what I have learned and be even more dedicated to providing the customer service my buyers deserve.
A love for pretty petals, and no green thumb to be had, blossomed into a paper and fabric flower shop.
I had just finished putting my husband through school in 2008 when I had an itch. I was creating and sharing my work, but I wanted to do even more. I found Etsy and instantly knew that I wanted to fill virtual shelves with pretty, handmade things. I got my feet wet by selling my handmade cards and scrapbook albums, but soon I found my niche. On a whim, I added some flowers to the shop. A sweet customer requested more, and she was followed by another, and yet another. I fell in love with designing and creating different flower embellishments that could be used for both papercrafting and accessories. My passion for flowers has grown and I now offer many varieties, patterns and colors in the shop today.
My flowers have been seen in several print magazines, including Green Craft, Creating Keepsakes, Paper Crafts, Scrapbook Trends, Create: Idea Books, Scrap 365, and more. My flowers have been featured on several manufacturer blogs such as Cosmo Cricket, SRM Press, DCWV and Epiphany Crafts. My flowers have been included in projects on television (HSN) and at Craft and Hobby Association conferences (CHA). You can also find my flowers across the world in craft faire booths and market stalls as hair clips and accessories.
I am grateful for the opportunity I have had to create and run Precocious Paper. It has been a huge blessing in my life.
