2015:
Out of boredom ordered a box full of electronics in China from which a so-called "3D printer" can be built. After a few teething problems and countless hours, the theory proved true and a 3D printer actually came out of it. The fire was lit and the foundation was laid due to the complicated learning process.

2016:
Many own printouts, every now and then breaks and not infrequently also problems with the printer. But I have bitten through and slowly continued.

2017:
Stagnation. Everything I ever wanted was printed. What now? Every now and then I pulled it out for smaller printers, but it was slowly gathering dust.

2018:
The solution! Friends ask what all they want printed. Finally, some sense behind it all again. Now there was also the question of whether this one printer could still meet the requirements.

2019:
Word gets around that I have a 3D printer. The first requests from companies come whether I can print something for them. It goes off slowly. Two new printers are bought. WOW the technology has developed further. No 2 hours setup and already better results.

2020:
I have the first trade show appearances behind me. In the meantime, a whole lot of printers are standing around here. Many different models from different manufacturers. Each has its specialty, but also its quirks. Corona prevents further trade show appearances, but smaller orders keep my spirits up.

2021:
The decision is made. All has potential to be an independent company. So far, I've barely made any sales and reinvested everything. The goal would be that the hobby is self-sustaining and I can run this as a sideline. From now on everything will be documented and evaluated. The plan seems realistic.

2022:
The time has come to found a company! Since January the company "Preischl 3D" is officially founded. Everything has been revised and professionalized. Comprehensible price calculation tools, accounting software, an ETSY online store and much more.

Furthermore the complete workshop was cleaned up. Meanwhile I build the printers myself or use the printers of the company "Prusa Research". This means an optimal quality over all parts and therefore optimal customer satisfaction.
Also the first fairs can be visited again, where we were overrun by interested people.

And so it goes on:
This is exactly the path I will continue to follow. Fun in the thing, content customers and possibly also times a small profit at the end of the year. That's all I need to be happy with this hobby.
