Announcement   ~Hairtoys!~

It's been a couple years since I shipped anything, especially internationally. Consider this a mini reopening. Please be patient, I work long hours during the week at my day job. I will try to ship Monday or Friday, but it may wait on your choice of finish.

Shop Story--
Back in the day, I was sick and tired of living in a house full of 20 year olds. I found this cool old van in a used car lot. I pinched my pennies and bought it. Some people think it's an ugly van and a death trap. It kind of is.
But it's got green shag carpet, wood paneling, and a pull out bed in the back. It's awesome, in my opinion!

So I packed my stuff into a storage unit and lived in my hippie van for a couple of years. The vent in the roof started leaking and I patched it with a Dr. Pepper can and some epoxy. I got rear ended, and duct taped the doors together.

Eventually I felt like being civilized again and got my own apartment, but I couldn't bear to part with the ugly van. It lived in parking lots for seven, eight years... I got married and distracted, but kept the van and used it to store camping gear.
The leak got worse, but I didn't notice.

Recently we moved again, to Whidbey Island, and I have room to give my crazy van a good home. I've aired it out, thrown out some mildewed camping gear, and parked it under one of those Costco carport tents. It'll stay dry there.

Now I use it to store my woodshop materials and tools. I'm tempted to rename my shop, "Shit from a broken down van."

:-)
