As a historical costumer and antique/vintage collector, I have always been deep in fashion and jewellery from bygone times, and I love re-homing them through this shop. Not only do these beautiful objects deserve to be cared for and lovingly used, during the current times of mass produced non-recyclable goods and disposable fashion, I believe it's important for each of us to do our bit and buy "old" whenever possible.

Sometimes it's hard to believe that I've had my shop here since 2012, but time flies when one is in good company. No matter how much other obligations have kept me occupied and busy, I always return to the shop which feels like home. During 2017 and 2018 I made the difficult decision to commit to a major women's rights political campaign in Ireland (which we won!), and now after some recovery time, I've re-opened my shop with a new name (formerly "Pretty Bones Jefferson"), to reflect the growth that I've experienced during my time away. Currently offering "smalls", namely vintage jewellery and accessory items, but I will be adding the vintage clothes back in as soon as I get back into ironing mountains of garments...

Hope you find something in my shop today, and if you have any questions or requests please don't hesitate to drop me a message. Also please don't forget to favourite the shop if you like anything and would like to return. :)

Additional policies and FAQs
All my vintage items are authentic true vintage dating from at least 20 years ago. My antique items are around or over 100 years old to the best of my knowledge.
If at any time you find that I have misrepresented an item, please don't hesitate to let me know, and I would appreciate any corrections!

Please note that vintage clothes size codes can be different from modern ones, so please check carefully the actual measurements provided in the listings. The best way to determine the fit is to compare the measurements with your actual body measurements with foundation garments on. Any piece of clothing of a similar cut that you already own would also be a good reference. All the measurements are taken with the garments lying flat, and are doubled where appropriate (such as bust, waist, and hip).

I use ASOS's size chart as a reference for the modern sizing system (XS, Small, Medium, Large, XL etc.):

I try my best to represent the actual colours of the items in the photographs and descriptions, however variances may exist and colours also differ on different computer screens (my computer screen has been calibrated to match print results as closely as possible).
