4 out of 5 starsThe bird craftsmanship is beautiful... but the “rattle” part of the item isn’t really noticed - will probably just use as a decoration.

5 out of 5 starsperfect! I will say the wheel color I choose looked to be teal in the image but arrived a bright indigo blue instead. definitely not a deal breaker, still very very cute. my two year old will love this tucked in her easter basket this year.

5 out of 5 starsNice quality beeswax polish, but surprised by small size of container relative to price. I want to update my initial comment. Sometimes the need to comment precedes actual full use of the product, and I have since found that the high quality of the ingredients used provides full coverage with a very small amount. I feel that the ratio between price and quantity is reasonable. The polish also performed well on unfinished wood.
About prettydreamer
inspired by nature, story and forgotten places
At night, when thoughts and ideas seem intent on playing, trying to construct their final form, I imagine they are much like dreams sorting out our day or like children drifting somewhere between imagination and reality. I work with materials from the natural world, they are both truthful and genuine. They hold a history of what they once were, how they grew, even the place and time they came from. I love that I can step within this stream of time and share my ideas using these wonderful materials and then let them travel to new hands to continue their story. I still love toys; trees and the living things that grow wild; histories, origins, storybooks, picture books and fairy tales of all kind; rocks, mountains, maps and terrain; typography, and ideas turned upside-down; folk hands, hand-stitching, patterns, textures, color and honest traditions that run deep; and all the other friendly playful things that function or are simply made to bring joy.

Authenticity and process
I believe authenticity is important in the ideas and materials I work with. The truthfulness of the design and natural materials gives power both to the object and our imagination. All my work is handmade one at time by my own hands created start to finish in the my studio workshop located in a small mountain town in Southern NH. I use mostly native, sustainably harvested wood otherwise beautiful reclaimed hard wood boards and have chosen all materials very carefully. All finishes and color used are 100% non-toxic and are either AP Certified nontoxic or food-grade contact safe.
