An absolutely beautiful product, the detail is amazing. They are so gorgeous I'm actually a little too scared to wear them as I don't want to ruin them. Great communication with seller who keeps you up to date with how your purchase is coming along. Would recommend to anyone looking for something unique or different for themselves or as a gift. Thanks

About

Not quite what I had in mind!

Originally I started Pretty Neko intending to make ceramics. I got my pottery wheel, designed a business plan, and set off to sell origami items to earn the money for a kiln. I discovered quickly that the origami items had their own intrigue, and I began playing with my original concepts to come up with some new and different uses for folded paper. I got so excited about the colors and pretty patterns that I really wanted to use them in as many ways as I possibly could.

The first art show I attended was a three day event that I was not the least bit prepared for, but it taught me so much about why I was creating my works. Nowadays the whole operation runs out of a tiny space in my bedroom, next to the shelving that houses my shipping supplies. I sell in several local shops as well as online, and I am always excited to mark off a new country on the map that I've received an order from internationally.

I do still intend to get back into ceramics, but I won't be putting the origami to rest when I do. As long as people still enjoy my items Pretty Neko will continue to make them!

I really love pretty paper! I'm not happy unless I'm making something unique and fun for someone else to use. I like all my items to be functional and slightly mind-bending, and the brighter the paper, the better!

Jack is the mascot of Pretty Neko and always makes sure the paper is completely flat whether by sleeping on it or simply charging across the piles. He also makes executive decisions on occasion about color choices by eating the contending options.
