Pretty Things was made to get uniquely beautiful, handmade things into the world, instead of cheap junk made in a factory overseas.

Pretty Things began as a custom clothing line specializing in costumes and formalwear. I have expanded as my life has grown and changed, and I am always picking up new skills and incorporating them into my business. I began doing bridal after my own wedding - seeing how expensive things were for such poor quality, I decided to create a completely unique wedding with my own two hands. Afterward, I decided to offer my high quality and modest prices to other brides, and my bridal line took off!

I truly love what I do, and every piece I make has a part of my soul in it. My work is my passion, and purchasing from my shop enables me to keep creating. I also believe in giving back, and 10% of my sales go to charitable organizations. I have supported many over the years, including food banks, Doctors Without Borders, Autism charities, Kiva, and numerous cancer research foundations. These are just a few, and I am always exploring new ways to give back. Contact me if you have any suggestions or ideas!

I gladly accept returns, exchanges, and cancellations
Contact me within: 14 days of delivery

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale

Returns and exchange details
If you are not satisfied with an item, please contact me. I pride myself on a great customer experience, and I will do whatever I can to make you happy with your purchase. Please read all the way through these policies as general information is given at the bottom that applies to cancellations, returns, exchanges, damaged, or incorrect items.

Canceled orders: I allow cancellations, but I reserve the right to retain up to 20% of the purchase to cover fees associated with a canceled order. I also reserve the right to refuse a cancellation if I have ordered materials or have begun work on your order.

Returns/Exchanges: I allow exchanges and returns on any new, unworn item that is not a custom order, even if it was made to order. COLORED VEILS (ie, red, black, blue veils) ARE NOT RETURNABLE DUE TO THE CUSTOM NATURE OF THE ITEMS. Usually, I can exchange the item for something of a different size or color, so a refund is rarely necessary. You will be responsible for return shipping cost as well as the cost of shipping the new item to you. Refunds and exchanges will be given after I receive the item back.

Damaged/Incorrect items: I will gladly replace a damaged or incorrect item. I will pay return shipping if returning the item is needed, and I will pay shipping costs for the new item to be sent to you. I will refund your purchase price only if I cannot replace the item.

Returned items must be RECEIVED within 60 days of the original purchase date or I cannot refund via paypal.

Items must be in new condition. I reserve the right not to refund your money if I feel that it has been used or damaged.

Custom orders, supplies, samples, seasonal, and sale or clearance items are not returnable. Drop veils with combs added are considered custom items and are not returnable. COLORED VEILS ARE NOT RETURNABLE DUE TO THE CUSTOM NATURE OF THE ITEMS.
I accept Paypal and credit cards. You do not have to have a Paypal account to check out with Paypal.
I ship in stock items within 1-3 business days of your order. Made to order items vary with their individual production times which can be found on the shipping and policies tab of the item. For rush order availability and pricing, please contact me.

The default shipping option is USPS First Class mail for smaller packages and USPS Ground for larger ones. Most First Class and Ground parcels deliver in 5-7 business days domestically and in 2-4 weeks internationally, and do NOT include tracking info. However, shipping times vary tremendously (especially international orders which do not have a delivery timetable from the USPS) and I cannot guarantee a delivery time. If you need a guaranteed delivery time and tracking, please choose Priority mail or Priority Express.

PLEASE NOTE: Priority mail and Priority Express expedites your SHIPPING speed only, not your production time. If you need your item sooner, you will need to contact me for a rush order before you place your order. I am often able to accommodate short timelines, but please ask first!

International customers: Customers are responsible for any customs fees, duties, or other taxes associated with your order. Please research any customs fees before placing an order. Thank you!
