Engraving "memories" one word and dress at a time.

Allie & Phil, together for 20+ years and counting, we are grateful for each new day and the opportunity it brings to live life kindly, with compassion and joy.

Allie, our artist, is a 2x breast cancer patient. Two breast cancer diagnoses in 6 years. 4 surgeries, 8 rounds of chemo, and radiation. I lost my boobs (but got fake firm ones that won't sag!), I gave up my ovaries (but not my womanhood), and I have scars, I mean 'lifelines' all over my body. It's weird sometimes to look into the mirror but then I take a deep breath and I'm grateful for every one of those scars. They gave me another opportunity to fight. My battle shields are organic veggies, my juicer, and the love and laughter I get from my husband. Together, with family and friends, we've raised over $32,000 for the Avon39 Walk to End Breast Cancer.
Blessed with this work, almost as therapy, Allie hand draws and then hand engraves each and every piece in the shop (with tiny & very hot tools - NO machines!). It's a tediously slow process but definitely a labor of love. There is a something special about creating one of a kind pieces that will become someone's keepsake - a little piece of herself goes into each one.

Philip has a wild imagination. He makes everyone laugh. He is as opinionated as he is kind and generous (and that's a lot)! He manages the day-to-day responsibilities as well as meticulously packages and runs shipments (finding the Post Offices in NYC that are open the latest to ship orders that came in last minute - talk about going above and beyond!).

This work and our little shop allows us to use our skills & talents to spread that joy to others during the most important times of their lives.
