Welcome to Protea Press!

We are a Toronto-based husband and wife team working together to produce unique and superior quality stationery. All of our designs are carefully made and can often be customized to suit your needs. If there is something particular you want, or a variation on one of our products, please feel free to contact us and discuss what you are looking for.

Payment

Protea Press accepts payment through Etsy via direct checkout, PayPal and Etsy gift card only. We require full payment for your order before any customization or design work begins.

Shipping

We ship using Canada Post parcel mail services. All orders over $100.00 will require signature confirmation upon delivery.

Any duties incurred with international shipping are the responsibility of the buyer. Please contact us for shipping quotes. UPS courier shipping is available for an added expense - please indicate upon purchase if you wish to use this option.

Occasionally, international parcel shipments can be delayed at customs or at international locations. Protea Press cannot foresee or hold any responsibility for delays on international shipments. Please ensure you leave plenty of time to receive your handmade stationery items.

Stationery samples are shipped via Canada Post standard or international letter mail, with an estimated delivery time of 7-14 business days.

Refunds and Exchanges

Due to the custom nature of our stationery products, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for any of our products unless there was an error on during production.

Regretfully, we cannot accept responsibility for errors with your stationery order that were missed on the approved proofs. The client takes full responsibility for ensuring the correctness of all information, spelling, colour choices and design of their purchase.

Should you wish to cancel your order before approving your stationery items for printing, Protea Press will retain a 50% deposit of your sales total, up to $100.00. Once you have approved your final proof and the printing process has begun, refunds or cancellations are no longer available.

Your customized files will be deleted from our storage servers 120 days from the date of initial purchase. We will not have the ability to change, revise or resend your order after this time period has expired.

SHOP HOURS
Monday - Friday from 9:00am - 5:00pm EST

Please allow 24-72 hours for inquiries to be answered.

For all orders placed on a Friday (after 12:00am EST), Saturday or Sunday, the following Monday will be considered your first business day.


DESIGN POLICIES
Every computer monitor and personal printer are color calibrated slightly differently. Colors may very slightly from that shown onscreen. Different paper types can also alter color slightly.

Protea Press does not take any responsibility for the slight differences between onscreen and physically printed products.

Please note that including envelope liners in any stationery orders constitutes a 'custom' item and can take an extra 10-15 business days to produce.


SCHEDULED SHOP CLOSINGS
Protea Press will be closed from Thursday, May 21 through Tuesday, May 26, 2015. Orders placed on Wednesday, May 20 will be sent proofs by Friday, May 29, 2015.
