  • S.Marie Bacavis

    Owner, Maker, Designer

An eccentric of the worst type. Aspiring writer, artist, seamstress, and adventurer... I enjoy safari novels, sewing 1920s fashion, riding camels, writing books, creating art, and antiquing.

  • Annette Bacavis

    Assistant

Annette performs routine dachshund inspections to insure everything I sell is top notch. She is also head of napping, toy squeaking, and window watching.

Most of my dolls are made or completed after purchase so make sure to tell me ahead of time if you need it by a certain date!

* I am no longer making Luck Dragons. I apologize if you were still hoping to buy one. I just feel the need to make more time for my other projects and ideas.
Please, if you decide to make your own, do not use my design. I intentionally made mine different than the film character. So feel free to model yours after the actual Falkor not my interpretation *

~*SOMETHING NEW*~ I DO TRADES! ~

Also looking for:

I will trade art or give extreme discounts on items if you have something like that to trade.

About the furs and natural materials I use:

Anytime someone is working with furs they run into questions about ethics and legality.
All of the furs I use are taxidermy scraps or ancient pieces from old rugs or coats that were damaged and needed re-purposing. I don't hunt any of these animals or condone the behavior of the fur industry. I believe we have a duty to the world around us to leave as little of a foot print as possible. I also believe strongly in recycling and using all of the animal. These scraps would have ended up as trash but now they live on and can be appreciated.
