Returns and exchanges
If items arrive broken, or do not arrive at all, Puck and Penelope would be happy to offer you store credit for the total you spent including shipping. Please contact us as soon as you receive the damaged package, with a clear description of the damage and photos. Without photos of the damaged item we will only be able to credit you with the item's cost and not the shipping cost.

At this time we are not set up to process exchanges or returns due to dissatisfaction, but we are also interested in doing whatever we can to make you happy with your purchase. We are willing to offer a discount on future purchases to customers that have a concrete complaint about the item they have purchased.

If you are very exacting, please let us send you more information and photos through email before purchasing an item. We would rather make it as clear as possible what you are buying so you are happy, then lose a customer just because we couldn't offer a return on an item they we unhappy with.
Puck and Penelope accept personal checks, Paypal, Revolution Money Exchange, Postal Money Orders(absolutely no money orders from any other company), and certain items or services for trade.

That means we also accept debit and credit cards - through Paypal, whether you have an account or not. You can choose the PayPal Option during checkout. After you submit your order click the "Pay Now" button. Scroll Down and you will see the option to pay with a Credit or Debit Card WITHOUT having to sign up for a PayPal account.

Packages are not shipped until the full payment is received. This means if you send a personal check, your items will not be shipped until your personal check has cleared. If a trade has been organized, until shipping confirmation is sent from the trader or some kind of contract is made for a service.

If you have some kind of unusual circumstance with your payment, or are having difficulty or need a more in-depth explanation of a payment method, please contact us at puckandpenelope [!at] gmail.com.

If payment is not received within 72 hours, one (1) email will be sent to your email address registered with etsy.com. If you do not respond to it with 24 hours, the transaction will be canceled and the item put back up for sale. You then have 7 days to send some kind of explanation, even if it is just a statement of buyer's remorse, or negative feedback will be left.
Puck and Penelope's items are shipped in recycled materials, and usually in whatever shape and size package we can make to save size and make it safer and more likely to reach you in one piece. This may mean you receive an oddly shaped cardboard box, made from old computer boxes - please do not be offended by our creative reusing of materials.

Standard shipping is through the USPS, most of the time First Class with delivery confirmation. Some items are shipped Priority. If you would like to upgrade to Priority or Next Day, or add insurance or online tracking, or would like to arrange shipping through some alternate service, please contact us to work out the details BEFORE purchasing an item.
Items are shipped to your PAYPAL shipping address, or if you pay by check or money order, the address on your Etsy account. If you realize there's a mistake with the address you've listed, contact us immediately.

If your item does not arrive within 9 days, please check with your local Post Office to make sure they are not holding the package, and then contact us.

International Shipping IS available, but for the time being is offered on a case-by-case basis, to give you the fairest price possible. Please contact us with the item you wish to purchase, as well as your address, and we'll be happy to get you a quote on various shipping methods to your country. All custom fees you may incur are your responsibility. We also will not ship any item containing liquids, herbs, or powders to countries that have policies against receiving those products through the mail.
Additional policies and FAQs
We heartily encourage custom orders - in most cases they are lots of fun and turn out very well. We require a 10% deposit before we will begin working on the project, and we will send weekly updates on the progress of the item. Timeframes for custom orders vary, but items are completed as quickly as possible. If your materials are going to be used in a custom order, we will make a mock-up using our own materials first to make sure the design is exactly right. If we accidentally destroy your materials in construction we will do our best to replace them at our cost.
