Handcrafted Jewelry with Soul
Since I can remember, art has been a strong influence in my life. I come from Mexico, a country that is so rich in traditions, culture and art. Everything that surrounded me when I was a child living in Southern Mexico (Chiapas) was very important in my formation.
I think that I felt more in love with my country when I moved to live in the USA; I missed so many things. This great passion for my culture motivated me to take my first class in metals in San Antonio, Texas. I had so many ideas in my heart that needed to come to life and metal smithing allowed me to do that.
When I took my first class with PMC I fell in love with this medium and since then I cannot stop working with it. Metal clay gives me the freedom to create my work with all the passion and feeling that I want my pieces to have. I also hand fabricated my jewelry but most is made by using metal clay.
My inspiration comes from my big love for my culture and traditions and this love allows me to create pieces with much soul.
I have become a very active artist in metal clay wearable art. My work has been featured in several books, magazines, and publications of the Precious Metal Clay Guild, and countless on line articles and industry websites. Some of the publications are: PMC Guild Annual 2, 3 and 4, Metal Clay Artist Magazine, Metal Clay Today, FUSION, The Art and Design of Metal Clay Jewelry 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 Calendars, Metal Clay Beads and The Art of Metal Clay (revised and expanded edition) and Metal Clay in color as one of the authors.
I was invited to be one of the jurors for the PMC Guild Annual 5 with Robert Ebendorf, Celie Fago and Kelly Russell.
I curated an online exhibition called "Behind the Brooch" in Crathaus.

Welcome to my shop !
I created all my pieces in my home studio in San Antonio, Texas. My work is a big representation of my love for my culture and heritage from Mexico.
I work with pure silver, sterling, copper, brass and bronze. All my designs are original and some of my work is one-of-a-kind.
I love to transmit with my jewelry a little about my culture, most of my work is inspired by the Mexican Milagro Hearts. Adding a sentimental meaning and story to each piece is what makes my work unique and very soulful.
