Announcement   My name is Brenda, and I send you warm greetings from Pumpkin Hollow Studios located in a sleepy little town (pop. 264) of Northern Illinois. At any given time of day, I can be found in one of my little studio areas located in the coziest corners of my home. Each haven is designated to serve each of my artistic mediums, since there isn't one space big enough to hold them all... yet! ;)

A lifelong love of studying the westward migration in the American pioneering movement will be forever present in the core design of my hand crafted creations. The art pieces offered in the Pumpkin Hollow Store will be composed from repurposed/recycled, naturally harvested and renewable resources, whenever possible. The patterns that I sell will keep true to the same spirit with a heavy emphasis on hand painting, sculpting and needlework. Individuality and personalization is the driving force behind the heirlooms created in The Hollow.

While visiting Pumpkin Hollow, please enjoy browsing through my vast variety of offerings. As a staple my store will have available:

* Felted Up cycled Wool Creations & Patterns
* Gourd Creations
* Needle Work Pieces & Designs
* Repurposed Flea Market Finds
* Barn Board Creations
* Beeswax Candles

Pumpkin Hollow Store will always be a busy location evolving as I explore new mediums. The last few years have seen no exception. My son has ventured into being a shepherd to a flock of Shetland Sheep, making Mom a fill in Shepherd at times! ;) With fleeces building up, I have taken on the challenge of scouring, picking, roving and learning to spin wool. Pumpkin Hollow Store will be offering raw, scoured and roved wool. (My spinning needs to get more refined before offering skeins!) The proceeds from the flock's wool sales will be used to care for the animals from which it was humanely harvested. To quote our veterinarian, “Your sheep are pets NOT farm animals.”

You can get a sample of Pumpkin Hollow living by visiting myself and our family at the Pumpkin Hollow Primitives blog site. While visiting the store or blog, please feel free to email and requests, questions or comments. I enjoy talking to old and new friends.
