The quality of engraving wasn't perfect but it had a nice script. Some light surface scratching too. What made this as a gift for my girlfriend was the absolutely wonderful gift wrapping. I would definitely recommend this product from this seller.
Whats lost is never lost, not ever lost.
.......years ago if you would have told me I would be making jewelry I would have laughed and made a sarcastic comment like "making macaroni necklaces in a looney bin doesn't exactly count as making jewelry... .... but here I am, sending out jewelry almost every day to all corners of the globe.
It all started when I borrowed an engraving tool from my artist friend. I was enamored with the idea that I could write my favorite poems and quotes from literature on ANYTHING I WANTED. What happened was most of my silverware in my kitchen now has Walt Whitman or Rilke quotes on the handles...if anybody ever found this I might possibly look like I belong making macaroni necklaces in a looney bin :) .... but eventually I realized I could maybe engrave these bits of verse that were so dear to my heart on pieces of jewelry, to wear close to your heart, and serve as a beautiful reminder.
Being that I wasn't technically trained in the art of jewelry-making from scratch, I gravitated towards finding vintage pieces and findings and taking them apart, and re-assembling them and engraving them and making them into an entirely new creation.
And years later, I have finally perfected my engraving technique so much so that I have engraved jewelry with names in Mandarin Chinese, Flasks in Modern Greek ,and even done some logo work.
Unlike most other companies, I never charge for my engraving, its something I do for you when you purchase anything from me, and I'm more than happy to do whatever is in my capability to make your ideas come to life.
To me, its so much more valuable , say if you are getting a necklace as a gift, it is a lovely sentiment. But to engrave it, and be able to look at it years down the road, and see your initials and your friend's special message to you, the date and the place you lived at the time, it really gives you a physical reminder of a point in time and a feeling, and the item becomes an instant heirloom. Even if it isn't worn forever, its something that becomes infinitly valuable to hand down in your family...just think if you found your grandfather's old money clip, with his favorite engraved quote and the date and his city on the back....what a treat....I want everybody to be able to carry on their history and their secret messages for as long as possible, and that's why I engrave. To keep our messages alive, even when we can't keep telling them.
As a former poetry student, I started missing verse in my quotidian life. One thing led to another and I discovered engraving, and I began engraving snippets of poetry anywhere I could..which naturally led to jewelry, which grew into Pumpkinseed...

Additional policies and FAQs
I am more than happy to make custom pieces-- I will work with you to create something specifically perfect for you. The existing jewelry that has engraving is just my suggestion -- if you have a quote that you would like instead of mine in any instance, just let me know and I will engrave yours instead (as long as it fits).
For any order larger than 2 of the same item, I am willing to offer a discount. I am also willing to create a custom listing (with a discount) for any order containing over any 3 items.
I make all of my items very carefully and test them for strength, but as I work with a significant amount of vintage pieces, and some tend to be more delicate (others, interestingly, are stronger). In the event that one of your purchases breaks within the first six months of your purchase, I will be happy to repair it. You will be responsible for the shipping both ways.
