You can now make the Shawl Collar yourself! The pattern is available as a PDF download. You can print it out as a booklet on standard 8.5x11 paper and fold in half. It also scrolls nicely on mobile devices!

Hats are for every season. Pack this hat for those chilly winter nights and midnight strolls on the beach.

About

I never dream of having a horse, but an alpaca? Now that's another story.

After teaching myself to crochet at 14, I started working in a yarn shop at 16. I collected technique books like people do shoes and do not get me started on yarn. I adore the animals and plants I share with you. Here you buy work made of the earth, natural, handmade, with subtle attention to details. They drape well, wash well, and live well. purlBknit is driven by a love for fiber, they breathe as we do.

Care instructions

Let your garment soak in cool water for 5 to 20 minutes. Air on the side of cold. I like hypo-allergenic woolen solvents like Eucalan or Woolite. Rinse under cool water and squeeze out the excess water. Lay flat on a clean surface to dry.
