Purple Carrot Designs

Hi! My name is Jennifer and I am the creator behind Purple Carrot Designs. I have been creating for as long as I remember. The part I love the most is making something for another person and the joy it brings them when being given something unique and special.

I am a mom who works from home running this small business along with my second shop, Purple Carrot Co. My husband and I have a fiery little girl, two Dutch Shepherds, three cats and three chickens. I am a diehard Chicago Cubs fan (Fly the W!). My husband and I used to be 911 dispatchers (that's how we met) and have family and friends in law enforcement, so that is something very near and dear to my heart.

I taught myself how to digitally hand letter and have worked over the past few years to make it a central theme in my style.

Frequently asked questions
Can I see the finished product before paying for it?

There are certain listings that will come with the option to see proofs, but these are provided after purchase. Please read all listings carefully to ensure you know whether or not a proof will be provided.

Any custom orders that are placed cannot be returned and will not receive a refund.

Custom and personalized orders

Custom and personalized orders cannot be exchanged or refunded. These orders include items with specific changes made to the design, names, dates, and numbers added to them.

Some designs require a customization fee to be paid upfront before any design work is done. This design fee is non-refundable and is applicable based on my discretion.

Improper Care by Buyer

If an item is damaged because of improper customer use the item cannot be exchanged or refunded. Customer use also includes any personalization done to the item by the customer after item is received. Signs of this will result in a denial of your damage claim.

Care instructions are clearly stated in shop policies and will be provided with purchased item. Failure to follow those instructions could lead to deterioration of quality of item.

Where's my package?

All orders are given tracking numbers when shipped. Once I have marked the item as shipped and it is handed over to the USPS, it is out of my control. Therefore, any damage or loss that occurs during shipment that is not due to packaging error on my part must be handled by USPS. If any of these situations occur, please send me a message and I will do my best to help you find a solution.

Any order that is sent back to seller will require buyer to pay to reship the item. Free shipping only applies to first shipment.

If your order is scheduled to ship on a US Holiday where the post office is closed, your order will ship the next business day.

Incorrect Address Provided At Checkout

Once you have noticed that the address listed for the shipping address is incorrect, please message me right away.

Once the correct address is provided I reserve the right to double check the shipping cost to this address. If there is a large price difference ($2 or more) buyer will be required to pay for the difference.

A note of the corrected address will be added to your order but the customer will be unable to see this note.

You can consider my acknowledgement of the address change (in addition to the payment of additional shipping cost if necessary) as a confirmation of having the shipping address changed.

Processing Time

Processing time does not include weekends, holidays, or delivery time.

You can find delivery estimate on the right side of your screen if browsing on a computer. Delivery estimate, when browsing on your phone, can be found in the section titled "Shipping & Policies".

If you are needing an item sooner than what is shown please message me before purchasing. If an item is purchased and a request to have it sooner than shown on the listing, I reserve the right to refund and cancel the order if it is not something I can accommodate.

The design created by Purple Carrot Designs is the property of Purple Carrot Designs and should not be reproduced or claimed as your own.

Items that are labelled as commercial use or otherwise noted that they are the property of the buyer will be specified in the listing.

Digital files and fonts are NON-REFUNDABLE. Customers are responsible for knowing compatibility of file/font format before purchase.

Sales & Coupon Codes

COUPON CODES CANNOT BE COMBINED. Coupon codes are provided at my discretion. When you receive a coupon code, they are always a one-time use and there are certain listings that are restricted from using coupon.

When sales are ran, they do not apply to any past orders. Sales apply only to orders placed during the time the sale is running.

There will be no honoring of past sales

>> All brand names/trademarks used remain the property of their respective owners. this design is not intended to imply any endorsement or direct affiliation with said company. the specific company/business name will be used solely at the request of the consultants of said company.
>> Unless otherwise mentioned in the listing, customer is not allowed to take any image provided to them and use it for anything other than the purchased purpose (ex: proofs are not to be removed from Etsy to be used in other locations or used for digital advertisement).

Complications with Order Delivery

Buyer must notify me within 3 business days of order being marked delivered to begin process to attempt to locate the package. The post office is able to provide GPS coordinates of where the items was delivered and this should be obtained to determine if the package was correctly delivered or not. At times, it is also appropriate to file a police report for theft if order is marked as delivered and GPS coordinates show item was correctly delivered, but the item has not shown after 2 to 3 business days. Seller reserves the right to decide whether to refund or replace order based on each circumstance.
