I've read a lot of “About” pages here on Etsy and they're almost all the same—so I'm just going to say “ditto”. I have nothing new to add.

I personally—and literally—run each order to the post office. Yes, run. I sling a lightweight backpack full of orders over my shoulder, put on my running shoes, and I'm off! Your orders keep me in top physical shape. It's a mile to the post office and a mile back. It's like hiding a pill in a piece of cheese, hiding something unpleasant (exercise) inside something I love (taking your orders to the post office). Thank you!

I ship fast. I mean like really fast. I just sit by the computer and wait for your order so I can pack it immediately and hurry it off to the post office. Well no, not exactly, but I do try to ship same-day or the next day after I receive your order—unless it's a weekend, or a holiday. Orders received before 6:00 am Pacific Time usually ship same-day (except Sundays and holidays when the Post Office is locked up and I can't drop packages).

I take the time—too much time—to write product descriptions in the most honest, clear, and descriptive form possible. It takes forever for me to do this but I care.

I'm not a professional photographer and I don't play one on TV. It takes a lot of time for me to get my photographs just right and to not look like they were taken behind a dumpster in the moonlight.

I don't have any minions or shop monkeys to help out and I'm working alone here. I ask the cat for help but she just answers with a “meow” which—as far as I can tell—loosely translates to, “Play with me, I'm bored”.

I'm not the cheapest seller on Etsy but I always believe you get what you pay for. Nobody is in business to just “break even”. And you probably aren't either. Give yourself a little credit. Buy the best supplies you can and charge accordingly for your work. Let's all help each other out.

I'm still here. After many, many years on Etsy, I'm still here. I have not given up no matter what. I've heard horror stories that start with “…and then the seller took my money and their shop just disappeared…” I don't know about you but I think that's just wrong. Just a thought. It happens, but I'm not going to do that.

Custom and personalized orders
At this time I don't do custom-designed items but I am offering PERSONALIZED items—which means I'm willing to do names and/or monograms on designs that I have pre-made.
It's my goal to keep production time short but the quality high for all items that I make. Item availability may be limited to what I can make in a reasonable amount of time as it's just me alone in my tiny shop.
Personalization requests need to be correctly spelled and complete. If I have any questions I will attempt to reach out to you before beginning the project. If I don't receive a reply in a reasonable amount of time—especially if not by the "ship by" date—I will have to cancel and refund your order to keep the work flow going.
