Let Your Passion Bloom

My love of vintage jewelry was planted when I was about 10 years old and my mom started selling vintage jewelry at flea markets and shows. I went with her many weekends, but usually read books and snacked - still two of my favorite things, although I regrettably seem to find more time for eating than reading. I didn't really care about the jewelry, vintage items or selling. It was kind of cool but "the seed" never really sprouted. That all changed about a year after the birth of my baby boy.

While shopping garage sales looking for household items I came upon a beautiful 14K gold cameo pin for a great price . . . and the rest is history. I know my mother was thrilled that I had finally found a love for something we could share. We spent almost every weekend at estate sales, thrift shops, anywhere we could treasure hunt. I sold new sterling silver jewelry and vintage at shows and sold vintage on eBay from 2000-2008. In late 2008 I opened my own shop on Etsy where my passion really blossomed. I now have two Etsy shops and a website - I hope they leave you smiling!

I will work hard to treat you with respect and deal with integrity. My goal is to provide wearable vintage jewelry, and most will be in very good to excellent condition, at a reasonable price. Customer service is high on my list of priorities. I work full time so I have some time limitations but I will always respond to your emails within 24 hours. If I don't there is probably an email issue.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

Returns and exchange details
Shipping cost for a return is the responsibility of the buyer and buyer must notify me within 3 days of receipt of the item with the request to return an item.

U.S. Transactions:
Vintage items usually show some wear and age. I will accept returns if I have grossly misrepresented an item only. You must convo me within 3 days of receipt before you return the item so we can.work out the details and terms of the return. Returns are subject to a restocking fee up to $10 which will be deducted from the refund amount.

Please be aware that the purchase price is refunded for international and U.S. buyers and return shipping is the buyer's responsibility.

Conditions of returns
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. All items must be returned in the same condition they were in when they shipped from Purple Daisy Jewelry.
I accept Etsy forms of payment, credit cards, and Paypal payments.
Shipping/handling rates are not negotiable - all include insurance.

U.S. Shipping
I ship all jewelry via first class mail. If you want to upgrade to Priority please choose the upgrade option.

International Shipping.
The quoted shipping rate for most areas is for first class mail international which may not include tracking. To upgrade to Priority Mail International or Global Express mail, please choose the upgrade option at checkout. If you purchase more than one item, shipping may have to be adjusted - I will refund overages of $1 or more and a separate invoice will be sent if shipping cost calcuates at $4 or more less than the actual cost. If something is calculating at a high cost, please contact me to ensure the cost is accurate as things don't calculate correctly sometimes.

All international buyers, I value all of you and appreciate your trust and business. To ensure you are happy with your experience with me, please understand that I cannot falsify customs forms - value declared is selling price and they will not be marked as gifts. If you want multiple items on one order shipped separately, you must request it by sending me a convo and you assume responsibility for individual shipping for each item and will be invoiced for the additional charges.
Additional policies and FAQs
I will hold items 5 days. Reserves are not to be used while buyer decides but only if buyer is certain they are going to make the purchase.

If a package is confirmed as delivered by USPS, but the buyer is unable to locate the package, the buyer must contact their local USPS office. USPS can often use GPS to locate where a package was delivered. They can also speak directly with the mail carrier who covers that route. Buyer should also speak with neighbors, other household members or anyone who may be holding the package. If none of that proves to be successful, the buyer must file a claim with their USPS office for stolen mail. Our shop is not responsible for missing/stolen packages that are confirmed as delivered by USPS.

Items are fairly and reasonably priced based on research, item appeal, quality, condition, rarity and my investment in the item. As a result I do not barter my prices or trade merchandise.
For purposes of this Privacy Policy, Purple Daisy Jewelry (referred to in this policy as PDJ) and Sue Webb, me, my, or I, all represent Purple Daisy Jewelry. This Privacy Policy describes how and when PDJ collects, uses, and shares information when you purchase an item from PDJ, contact me, or otherwise use my services through Etsy.com or its related sites and services.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that I do not own or control, including Etsy or any third party services you access through Etsy. You can reference the Etsy Privacy Policy to learn more about its privacy practices.

1. Personal information PDJ collects.
To allow PDJ to fulfill your order, you authorized Etsy to provide to me needed information, such as you’re the details of the product(s) purchased from PDJ and your name, email address, postal address, phone number if needed and payment information. The details of your payment, such as credit card number or Paypal account information is collected by Etsy and PDJ does not have access to see these details. You may also choose to provide me with additional personal information if you contact me directly.

2. Why PDJ Needs Your Information and How PDJ Uses It
PDJ relies on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including and as needed, to provide my services, such as when I use your information to fulfill your order, to settle disputes, or to provide customer support; if necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order or in connection with a legal claim, such as retaining information about your purchases if required by tax law; and as necessary for the purpose of my legitimate interests, if those legitimate interests are not overridden by your rights or interests, such as 1) providing and improving PDJ services. PDJ uses your information to provide the services requested and products you order in my legitimate interest to improve PDJ services, and 2) Compliance with the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use. PDJ uses your information as necessary to comply with my obligations under the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use.

3. Information Sharing and Disclosure.
Information about my customers is important to my business and used with consideration to your utmost privacy. PDJ shares your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:
PDJ shares information with Etsy as necessary to provide you my services or fulfill products orders and to comply with my obligations under both the Etsy Seller Policy and Etsy Terms of Use.
Compliance with laws.
PDJ may collect, use, retain, and share your information if I have a good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to (a) respond to legal process or to government requests; (b) enforce my agreements, terms and policies; (c) prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, and safety of my customers, or others.
4. Data Retention.
PDJ retains your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with my services or products, and as described in my Privacy Policy herein. However, PDJ may also be required to retain this information to comply with my legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce my agreements. PDJ generally keeps your data for a four year period on an external hard drive and/or in the cloud at Microsoft’s One Drive. Etsy stores all orders in a sold section on PDJ’s shop manager within Etsy and I have access to that information for an undetermined or unknown period of time. I do not send out any marketing emails, sell or share your name, address or any other details of your order without explicit, written permission from you. You might receive a marketing email directly from Etsy that includes PDJ, or individual items that can be purchased at PDJ. These marketing email are not requested by PDJ but are generated and sent solely by Etsy.

5. Transfers of Personal Information Outside of the EU.
PDJ may store and process your information through third-party hosting services in the US and other jurisdictions only for the purpose of completing your order. As a result, I may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with data protection and government surveillance laws that are not in agreement with those in your jurisdiction.

6. Your Rights
If you reside in certain territories, including the EU, you have a number of rights in relation to your personal information. While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply only in certain limited cases. I describe these rights below.

Access. You may have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information I hold about you by contacting me using the contact information below.

Object. In such cases, I will delete your personal information unless I have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.
