I love working in mixed media, incorporating design, color, and texture. When I am designing a piece of jewelry I have a tendency to lean towards the romantic and nostalgic. I am often told I have an old-sole as I love old movies and most anything from the 1930s to 1950s.

I also find some of my inspiration from my childhood. My grandmother turned 94 in December and has mid stages of dementia. Sometimes her memory is clear and undistorted with current present day activities, but the rest is locked away and often distorted. Some of my fondest memories of her are when we visited my grandparents. My grandmother was an avid gardener and had the most beautiful flower beds and vegetable beds, and I loved working in the garden with her. I loved her fresh bouquets of flowers throughout the house. She had a simple way of living and seemed to make everything beautiful.
