Shipping
I offer shipping via USPS First Class mail. For domestic shipments, delivery confirmation and insurance is included in the shipping charge. For international shipments, delivery confirmation is not available but insurance is included.
I am not responsible for lost, stolen, misplaced, or damaged packages.
Once it is in the mail it is out of my hands, literally.

Please allow up to 2 weeks for delivery inside the U.S. and 4 weeks for international deliveries as items can be held up in customs.

US buyers: want to save days off your postal time?
Please go to this site and put in your address and it will give you an extra 4 digits to add to the post code,

http://zip4.usps.com/zip4/welcome.jsp

These extra 4 digits provides information to get the package right to the correct street and by doing so it speeds up the sorting and delivering time.

****NOTE: ANY CUSTOMS FEES OR DUTIES OWED ON INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER/RECIPIENT.****

I very highly recommend shipping with Priority and Global Priority shipping. Please contact me if you prefer this more reliable shipping method and I will send you a revised invoice for any additional cost.
I strongly encourage you to purchase insurance for your package as I am NOT responsible for lost or damaged packages. If you would like insurance please let me know in the "message to seller" and I will contact you with insurance costs. An invoice will then be sent to reflect the additional insurance cost. Once again, I cannot be responsible for packages once they leave my hands.

You may combine purchases to save on shipping. That is on a piece by piece basis, so please look on the item you wish to purchase.

I will ship using other carriers such as UPS or FedEx for expedited shipping, upon your request. Contact me prior to purchase for a quote.
Refunds and Exchanges
I try to be very Honest, Thoughtful and Accurate when describing my items. I ask everyone to be Mindful that these items are VINTAGE. They carry a small piece of history with them and each one has been a part of someones story before it arrived to you (isn't that the beauty?). Please contact me if you have any questions, comments, issues, exclamations within 3 days of receiving order and we can have a dialog. Your satisfaction is my highest priority. I include detailed measurements in each listing and description as well as include several photos. I do my best to give you as much information as possible about the piece. Please contact me if you need additional information. I love mail! Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. I do not automatically issue refunds.

If you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact me within 7 business days of receipt of package for refunds to be considered. I will do my best to work with you for a solution. I will consider refunding the purchase price ,less shipping and a 20% restocking fee. After discussion, I may choose to offer a refund. Then, and only then may you return the item in its original, resalable, undamaged condition (please see below for shipping instructions). Upon my receipt of the undamaged returned item, I will then refund your money within 7 business days.
Items must be in their original condition and packaging. Please contact me when you send out your package with the up to date tracking information you receive. Please be sure to purchase insurance and delivery confirmation for your return, as I WILL NOT be held responsible for the loss or damage of uninsured returns; therefore, if it never reaches me I cannot refund your purchase price. Refunds will only occur after my receipt of the returned undamaged item

All items received without prior knowledge will be returned to sender and no refund given.
All 'Sale' items are *final sale* and cannot be returned.
Additional policies and FAQs
More often than not you will receive the item as I found it. I will dust it off lightly before I take my photos, but it usually is in its original patina and/or aged state. It may have an "older" smell, but never a smoke smell. From experience I know people like to do the cleaning themselves in whatever way they think is best. Most purists and seasoned collectors of vintage jewelry prefer to clean the jewelry themselves to insure that it is done correctly. Improper cleaning of your jewelry can ruin it. Harsh chemicals, prolonged exposure to moisture and abrasive materials (including toothbrushes) are the enemy. Some also love the age a piece has while others prefer a shinier look. I will ship the treasure as I find them.

About Vintage Jewelry ~

Vintage Jewelry is lovingly worn and cherished... is Not new. Many signs of age rightfully add to the Beauty and Value of a piece.

Condition will vary with age, material and wear. We rate 'Vintage Condition' on 'Scale' (see below). Our rating is derived from several years experience collecting, selling & researching vintage jewelry. While we have experience, all ratings are our 'Honest Opinion'. But, Beauty lies in the Eyes of the Beholder. So, please let the photos, and any questions you may have, be your guide~

1) NBW - Never Been Worn & Near Mint/New Vintage Condition
2) Near Mint - Has been worn but shows little if any signs of wear
3) Excellent - Considering age, materials, etc, the piece may show minor signs of wear upon close inspection.
4) Very Good - Better than average wear for age & material: flaws not readily noticeable
5) Good - Average wear consistent with age & materials
6) Fair - A bit more than average wear, but a wonderful piece representative of the times and worth wearing.
7) TLC - May need a 'quick fix' or TLC to refurbish, but nothing major for anyone with a bit of patience.
8) Repair, Craft - will be noted clearly

CLEANING TIPS for JEWELRY...................

~ cotton swabs, a soft make up brush, wooden toothpicks, and
a micro-fiber towel will do the trick most of the time

~ never soak your jewelry in any solution - even water.
Use moist cotton swab or micro-fiber towel to gently
wipe dirt, dust and stuff.

~ a wooden toothpick can be used to gently pick out
encrusted areas and a makeup brush can be used to brush
the surface clean

~ the natural effects of aging (patinas) to metal
finishes such as copper, sterling silver and even nickel
are often what attracts buyers to vintage jewelry. If
you choose to "clean up" the metal be very careful especially if the jewelry also contains pearls or rhinestones.

~ For more serious clean-ups consult your nearest internet search engine. There are lots of good resources on the web.
