Welcome to PurringPyjamas! Here you can find original handmade clothes for your kitty. All sweaters are hand knitted and crocheted by me from different materials: wool, alpaca, mohair, cotton, acrylic, and many more! All items are made to be safe, warm and comfortable for your furry or hairless friend, and, of course, everything is made with lots of love and care.
PROCESSING TIMES
Items, that are made to order, usually take 1-3 business days to make. Already made items are shipped within 1-3 business days. All information about processing times is available in every listing individually.
STANDARD SHIPPING TIMES
Delivery time to Europe is 1-4 weeks.
Delivery time to the rest of the world is 2-6 weeks.
Express shipping with a tracking number is available at the check out (packages are delivered within 2-3 business days in the Northern countries, other European countries - 2-5 business days, the rest of the world - 3-8 business days).
Please keep in mind that delivery times will depend on the customs and post offices, for this reason I cannot be held responsible for delayed shipping times. However, if you do not receive your package within the written time frames, please contact me and we'll solve whatever problems may have occurred with your order.

I love making custom orders, so if you have some ideas or would like to customize an item from my shop, please contact me and we'll create something original for your precious pet!

I am sorry to hear the package took a long time to arrive - transport & postal workers were on strike right around the time your package was shipped, therefore imports and exports, as well as mail delivery, were affected, unfortunately. 5 out of 5 starsThis is the third item we’ve bought. Our cats always seem the most comfortable in these clothes. Their freedom of movement is hindered in anyway. Sméagol fell asleep in the strangest place straight after put this on him 😂

How do I know which size will fit the best for my pet?
There's a size chart in every listing that has the neck & chest measurements of all the sizes offered in my shop. Please always measure your pet before placing an order to avoid the wrong fit. Even though there's a size chart in every listing (usually it's the 2nd picture), sometimes it might be hard to choose the correct size due to every pet coming in different shapes just like us humans. If you took a look at the size chart, but are still not sure about the size, feel free to message me over here on Etsy! I can always help you to decide on the correct size based on the weight/measurements and will also gladly make a custom size sweater for your pet.
I like a certain style sweater in your shop, but don't see the color I like. Can you make it in different color?
Absolutely! As much as I love making sweaters that are staples in my shop, I thoroughly enjoy doing something new! If you have any ideas, suggestions or would like to make some adjustments and personalize your order, simply message me and we will create an amazing custom clothing for your precious pet.
I placed an order, but noticed that the shipping address is wrong. What should I do now? / Can you ship the item to a different location than my Etsy address?
If you noticed that the shipping address is wrong, please contact me immediately and provide me with the correct shipping address. If you didn't notice it or noticed too late, I cannot be held responsible for lost packages as it is customer's responsibility to provide me with the correct address. For this reason please always check the address when checking out! If the item you buy is a gift and you want it to be shipped straight to the gift recipient, please write the address you want the package to be sent to in the Note to seller when checking out, send me a message over here on Etsy or write an email: purring.pyjamas(at)gmail.com. I saw a sweater in your shop that I like, but it has sleeves and my cat feels the most comfortable wearing sleeveless shirts/sweaters. Can it be made sleeveless?
Absolutely! Every single sweater in my shop that is made to order (it says in the listing's description whether it's made to order or is already finished product) can be customized the way you want it. Even though the sleeves that I make are adjusted specifically for cat's anatomy (you might've noticed my cat sweaters aren't just tiny copies of human clothes) I understand that sometimes cats love to have their legs uncovered. Or maybe it's the look that you prefer? Then go for it! When checking out, simply write to a "Note to Seller" that you'd like the sweater to be sleeveless.
I like a sweater in your shop, but at the moment I don't have opportunity to buy it. Can you keep it for me until I am able to purchase it?
Yes, of course! If you want a sweater, but can't purchase it immediately, simply send me a message over here on Etsy or email me at purring.pyjamas(at)gmail.com and tell me which sweater you'd like to book. I can keep the sweater in stock for you for up to 7 days.
I ordered a sweater, but it's too big/too small for my cat. What should I do now?
If you accidentally ordered the wrong size item, no worries - simply message me over here on Etsy or email me at purring.pyjamas(at)gmail.com and we will find the best solution! You can always exchange the items for bigger/smaller size or send them back and get a refund. (Custom made orders are non-refundable as I work with you individually on the sizing and style for the best fit prior to making and sending the item.)
I received an item, but do not like it./I've been waiting for over 30 days and the item still hasn't reached me. What should I do now?
If for some reason the item doesn't meet your expectations or you haven't received the item you ordered, always message me first before leaving a review. I am always willing to work on the best solution that would be good for both of us.
Are your clothes meant only for cats, or can they be worn by dogs as well?
My sweaters can be worn by both dogs and cats. :) If your dog is a certain size/breed, simply message me, and we will create a custom sweater for your precious pet. I made quite a few custom dog sweaters in the past, and I always love taking onto new projects, so if you would like a warm knitted sweater for your pup, don't hesitate to contact me! :)
Can I leave my pet alone while he/she is wearing your pet clothes?
Generally, you should not leave your pet unattended while he/she is wearing any kind of clothes, collars and other accessories. While my sweaters are made to be as safe as possible, things still may happen as pets are not humans and don't know what they should/shouldn't do while wearing something. So, in any case you should not leave your pets completely alone for longer periods of time while they are wearing pet accessories & clothes.
What happens to the sweaters that get sent back?
If the sweater gets sent back, it goes straight to the sweater heaven - it is washed and then remade into the yarn again, which I use either for my gardening or trying out new patterns. Nothing gets resent to someone else due to hygienic reasons, but nothing gets wasted either! :)
