Communication was great when getting everything customized. I even changed it up at the last minute, and she worked well with me. We love them and received them in a timely fashion! Thanks!

I ordered a sample of these invitations to possibly use for our halloween wedding. I LOVED the idea of having ouija board invites from the get-go but, in the end, we went with other invitations. They sent me my sample very quickly and even customized the sample with all our wedding details! Highly recommended!
Custom-Designed Wedding Invitations as Unique as You Are
My path to becoming a designer seems pretty straightforward: Start with a degree in botany, plant pathology, physiology and molecular biology. Spend a few years at Walt Disney World working as a topiary designer, character artist and painter. Pick up some work at Universal Studios Florida and Ocean Park Hong Kong as a special effects makeup artist. Build some audio-animatronics for the world's biggest entertainment companies. Move back to Ohio, work as a graphic designer and art director for a couple of newspapers and then open a store. I'm sure you've heard the same story over and over....or probably not!
Puttin' On The Glitz was started in 2008 by my mother, Joanne, with the goal of providing brides with great bridal accessories at great prices. I started helping her run the store on a full-time basis in 2010. Since then, we expanded the store twice, moved to our town's historic district, and added a full gift shop.
In 2015, my mom retired, and I took over as the sole owner. Over the years, my invitation and design business has grown so large that I had to make a decision. Unfortunately, it meant that our full gift shop had to close. On the upside, I have turned the business into a full design studio and can now devote all of my time to designing and printing!
Our invitations are entirely designed and printed in-house. We offer everything from traditional, classic styles to one-of-a-kind looks. I love off-beat themes and non-traditional weddings, so if you don't see something here that works for you, please ask!
I'm a designer and boutique owner with an eclectic background ranging from botanist to Disney character artist from SFX makeup artist to newspaper art director. All of these weird & wonderful skills help me create unique & wonderful invitations!
Owner, Kelly Heuss, is a former artist for the Walt Disney Co. and a graphic designer/design director for various print publications in Northwest Ohio. She now uses her design background to create beautiful and unique wedding invitations for couples worldwide.

Frequently asked questions
When should I order invitations?
General wedding planning guidelines are that you should order invitations 4-6 months prior to the wedding. This allows for ample time for production, assembly and addressing before mailing them 6-8 weeks before the wedding.
Are rush orders available?
Generally, no. We give each order our full attention and process them in the order that they are received. Being a small business with one designer and one printer, we don't think it's fair to push everyone else to the side just for a few extra dollars.
That being said, there are sometimes ways we can help. We suggest
contacting us to see what the current turnaround times are.
Sometimes we aren't super-backed up with orders and can get to yours quickly. Sometimes if it's a small order of 15 or 20 invitations, we can squeeze it in between larger orders. Sometimes we can outsource the actual printing to one of our paper suppliers who can get them done quicker, since they have a much bigger staff and printing capabilities.
