From the Woods to Lake Erie
I started PymatuningCrafts as a way to make some extra money and just have fun doing what I enjoy. I started out making candles and soap for many years but slowly turned to wood working. I own 20 acres in western Pa. with lots of woods.
I looked at my trees everyday and wondered what I could do and slowly the idea of making wooden buttons came into the picture. I got myself a miter saw, a sander, and a drill press and started going to town. I've been making buttons full time for over 3 years now and I still love waking up every morning, going out to my workshop to make more.
I just love doing this. I love all of my customers and have met some really amazing crafters. My biggest "happy" is seeing where my buttons go. The talent of the people who buy my buttons is simply amazing. I love every single picture I'm sent or I see.
I'm now re located in Northeastern Ohio on the shores of Lake Erie. My new "happy" is walking the beaches looking for awesome beach finds.
